I get what Eijaz is saying,but we dont go around telling someone how much we love them EVERY SINGLE DAY now do we?But when days like these come,we do special things and make someone else smile.I personally dont really care about the history of these days at all,but I just take it as an excuse to express myself.Now 90% of the world might be celebrating Valentines Day and about 10% is not.Its like our birthdays,they are special to US and to a few other people because we were born on that day but for the rest of the world its just any other day,so why should they celebrate right?But that doesnt mean the 4th of Jan (my b'day) should be banned just because the whole world doesnt celebrate it.If Eijaz doesnt believe in Valentines Day thats fine but I dont think it should be banned.If something special happens to you on days like these that you always remember,then it feels as if the whole world is celebrating that special thing with you,its a great feeling really!!

Father's day,Mother's day,etc reminds our loved ones that we still love them alot.Also many people might have different reasons why they think 14th Feb is special (other than b'days) and thats why they celebrate Valentines Day.Like me,one this same exact day something happened thats very special to me and my life and that gives me double the reason to celebrate this day.Valentines day is not JUST about saying "I love you" to someone you know!

Its a day to celebrate LOVE! Which EVERYONE believes in!
