Dont get me wrong, i have a lot of respect for Salman Khan, but i dont think he makes a good host..Many of you will probably disagee but i feel like he is very slow and makes the show boring and when you watch the episodes hosted by him it is sometimes awkward (as if he cant be bothered) and i feel as though im watching paint dry.

Also Colors edit the show (when Salman is hosting) very abruptly which makes it inconsistent and doesnt help with the boredom, especially in the first episode where they chose to cut most of Kapil's and Akshay's appearances, which prob would have been more entertaining. Although i find the daily episodes are much better (but i wish there were less ad breaks and more footage)

Lastly, i know i probably shouldnt compare it but Bigg Boss has copied a lot from the UK's version of celebrity big brother where the first two HM'S had to decide which HM's went to the basement or to the house but this was much better as the first/last and eviction episodes are live/unedited and the host is more engaging and the divide only lasted a few days and was occasionally reused again.

I think altho there are many fights, this year's concept isnt great as it is unfair for the juhanam side as only they do the tasks and only they can be nominated and i hope this isnt the way it will remain..

Either way this was my opinion on the show, feel free to share your own x

Salman is a biased, frog eyed, obnoxious host. But I still enjoy him at times. I dont like the fact that his whole friend circle is in BB.

I agree with you. The concept has simply been copied from the UK version, and the heaven & hell from Australia. I also completely disagree with Bigg Boss tasks which involve sleep deprivation. There is just no need for it. The do this every season and take pleasure in torturing the HM's which can get unpleasant to watch.

I guess the producers are trying to cause more arguments by doing this and i hate how the jannat side simply need to make food and they claim they work equally! Either way i hope they dont just keep the same HM's in jahanham, otherwise the same people will constantly be nominated!

Seriously, these days Salman' is as boring as Anita Advani ! -- He was so dull in opening epi / - @ I guess ever since Chennai express became blockbuster, salman has that worried look on his face --@

About the show editing, yes --very inconsistent ! I think its mainly because showmakers want to manipulate things to favor certain contestants of their choice. --@
