Ok guys just to increase forum activity ...
Guys JA us a historical show , I still remember the movie JA wer Aiswariya n hirthik acted, if you look closely the way they interact with each other, hand hold, or even hug it's not like wat we seen in 21 st century. I take example of my fav show I'm not comparing but as an example, the way Arnav ji n khushi ji hug, hold each other, etc is totally like wat is in 21 st century. But can that be apply for 16 th century ... Earlier I saw a post stating that jodha is behaving more like a 21 st century wife, I cannot deny this to some extend but I also fully aware the fact that even historical but it needs to cater the current demand I viewers too.

As for me I dun mind, as long as the scene is executed well n it's good for viewing. But I personally would like to see the combo of both century. Coz the Essence of show needs to be of the background of 16 th century .

So far we have not got Many akhda scene but I liked the scene of hand hold wer jodha holds jalal arm for moti bai case, the aarti scene , the sword scene, n the bath tub scene. Besides these the water scene wer the reflection... The tent scene, the bedroom scene all this scenes have been nicely done n it makes viewer like me want more 😉

Riyya:
If both actors are good their eyes will speak volumes. And if the eyes speak, that will feel so satisfying that we may not need overt hugs and handholds, and eyelocks and slip-and-catch type of soapy romance. I want to see deep inner feelings reflected by small gestures, and eyes that do a lot of talking!
In fact one of the good things, I feel, about historical serials is that we may have less of the soapy kind of nonsense in the name of romance and more dignified but deep feelings reflected in the eye-talk if the actors are really good (which both Rajat and Paridhi are!)

riyya you forgot the epic aarthi scene...that scene oozed so much chemistry - it could have given takkar to any of the modern scenes from these serials we're referring to...
also, its a misconception that romance in all of its forms is more prevalent today than in yesteryears
Wooing a lady by buying her gifts, presenting her flowers, protecting her, being loyal to her, being possessive of her, writing her letter/poems - all of this would not be something characteristic only to the 20th/21st century...Yes, the manner in which it was carried out would have been different and couples didn't publicly declare/show their affections for each other in anyway (which is done today)😊
