Very well said Picasso. For any woman it is better to move with caution with her DIL until
She knows the girl can be trusted. If she is stupid enough to discuss her son or any other member
She is asking for dis respect from DIL. After all she is still a stranger. That way Ira is right. She never lets her gaurd down. She is nice to her DIL. But keeps the distance.

😆 Sanchi is planning to move to Mumbai (scary city according to Sumitra) or US. Sumitra is already used to being in US.

Sanchi wants to move to Usa? She is totally clueless. Does she think Jagia can do jis surgery there?
Has she heard about USMLE that all foriegner doctors ave to go theu for 2 years with a small stipend.
Does she know they have to stay in a pigeon hole and shvhas to do all the work. In fact it is a
Good idea to put Sanhi thru this grind. That might herald her reform.

Sanchi seems clueless. She is just an immature girl who hasn't seen the real world. Even though I am not too excited about this alliance, sometimes it makes me wonder what will happen if she gets married and comes to Jaitser and later find out that it is not so easy to change husband. Since she forced everyone in KB haveli for this marriage, will she try to change just to prove she can make this marriage work? Because some of the things Sanchi says or does is very familiar with some of the girls I have seen. 😃 One girl told me that she doesn't want to live with rahu kethu. I didn't understand it at first and then found out she meant in-laws. 😕

Redapple, most of the girls are like that even if they are nice otherwise. It is also the fault of our culture
Which makes women subsevient. We can not deny the fact that women are expected to obey the inlaws. Many people may not say that, but they dont feel comfortable with staying with in laws.
Depending on the way they are raised some may accept it as part of life. But if a girl grew up
With lot of freedom lke the affluent girls in cities, then they just dont want to live with in laws
Unless it suits them. I have also heard of nice working girls who are practical, prefer to stay with
In laws for the convenience it offers their life style. In that case the in laws are also practical and
modern and grt along. That is really nice.
But these days girls are really arrogant and spoiled like Sanchi. In Sanchi's case it is very bad bringing up. in my opinion if possible married couples should stay separate from heir parents. That will solve
Lot of problems. Even with the nicest people ,day to day living together can create misunderstandings.
People need space. Indians need to understand the need of giving each other space.
But in case of Sanchi if she does not like that BH life style while Jagia's heart and soul is there, she
Can not think that her marriage will work with her manipulation. That is why Jagia has to be very careful in judging the merits of his alliance. He just can not think, if my parents are happy that is
Enough for me. He is just in denial with what future has in store for him if he married Sanchi.

I agree giving space is something which we don't do :)
Sanchi is so sure she can manipulate and get what she wants. She is highly educated, beautiful and comes from well to do family. Her brother is an IAS officer and she is the ladlee of her house. With such background Singh's family were thrilled to bring her as bahu. What bothers me is how did they assume she will fit their lifestyle. They had seen her in modern clothes, how she behaved during Anandi's wedding. How she left haveli when she found out about Urmi devis fiasco. For all that they thought it was her bachpana.
Jagya has given the key of his life to someone else, until and unless he takes the key back he will let others drive his life.

Yeah Sumi is thrilled at getting a virgin girl from a wealthy and respectable family.

But her doing Sanchi & Ira ji jaap seems to have more to do with them being laado Anandi's in laws than getting and keeping "such a good" rishta for Jagya.

She always says in a grave voice, "Kuch bhi karne se pehle ek baar Anandi ke baare mein soch lena."

I hate how girls' family thinks they have to be doormat for her in laws. 😡
