Sonu Nigam , Arijit and Atif all have different voices and style. I don't see what makes Atif less versatile than Sonu and Arijit?

Atif has sung all kinds of songs from Aadat to Tu Jaane Na to a fast paced song like Race 2's title track.

Many indian singers try to copy Atifs style as they have done in past. Mithoon did his best to sound like Atif here but couldn't create the Aadat magic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4IBJ-t43Zs

Many indian youtube singers upload their voices and name them "Atif Aslam's new song" and not "Sonu Nigams new song" 😆 just to get views! I think we all know Atif's power now?

Atif is great and Bollywood is lucky to have him is all I can say. All his songs reach no#1 no matter how big or small the film is. His music helps promote the film in its own way. Be it super flops like Vivek Oberoi films or be it big films like Ajab, Race 2, etc. So what if they don't appreciate his work in award shows and call him a bad singer? Indian public adore Atif and he is still here because of his back to back hits and that's the truth

Honestly ... In my opinion, a good singer is not due to good voice only. God has gifted us all with different and unique voices. What about Sur and other techniques ? Power of voice?

Generally speaking ... I never get when people call Atif a bad singer ... Besura ... Just cause his voice ain't smooth like Sonu Nigam's.

its okay

it reminds me too much of Chugliyaan. Like, after he says the last 'paani' in the chorus, I can totally imagine the guy chorus from Chugliyaan starting their whole "oh yaare tere naal akhiyaan" etc instead of the female chorus
