Abhay is shocked on seeing Mahi' on Fire, and tries to save an already lost cause but Kkusum and Kumud stop Abhay from going into the fire. The Kapoor family all rushes outside to see what was happening, everyone's in dismay and cries over Mahi's sudden death. Kali also falls down on the ground and cries.
Abhay is crying in his room and Aryaman comes into the room with Kkusum. Aryaman tries consoles Abhay that he was not to blame. Kkusum tells Abhay that she is the one who is responsible for all this, saying that because of her Mahi was upset and also because' of the Kali issue. Kkusum also tells Abhay that if she had never come into his life again, this would not have happened and starts crying. Abhay then says that maybe he was the cause of all this because he never tried to see whether Mahi was happy or not. Abhay tells Kkusum that he tried his best to make Mahi happy. Aryaman consoles Abhay again and asks him to come downstairs as everyone is waiting for him. Aryaman, Abhay and Kkusum go downstairs.
Kali is downstairs sitting near Mahi's body and crying. Kumud is standing in a corner and crying. Abhay goes to Kali and keeps his hand on Kali's head. Kali forcefully removes his hand from her head and stands up (and of course she creates a scene). Kali pointing her finger towards Abhay and accuses him of being the reason for her mother's death. Abhay is shocked to hear this (which is rather surprising) and so is the entire Kapoor family. Kali tells Abhay that he always cared about Kkusum and Kumud. She tells Abhay that Mahi always longed for his
Love, but he treated Mahi and Kali as surrogates, second best... Abhay feels really bad about this. Sarala tries to explain Kali but Kali asks her not to talk anymore. Kali agonizingly says that she is not related to that house anymore. Kali tells to Abhay that he had taken away her mother from her and from now on, he is also dead for her. Abhay is sad and dishearten
The Police (ACP) comes to the house. Everyone is concerned. Aryaman steps forward and talks to the ACP on behalf of the family. The ACP informs Aryaman that he needs to ask some questions about the events before the supposed suicide, Aryaman then requests to the ACP that due to the final rites today he will ask everyone they need to come to the Police Station tomorrow to answer their questions, and Aryaman asks the ACP to leave now. The ACP agrees and tells Aryaman to inform all that no one should leave the city without their permission, and he leaves.
Mahi's body is taken out of the house towards the burial ground. Kali cries out loud. Sarala stops her from going after them. Kkusum also comes close to Kali and holds her. On seeing Kkusum touching her, Kali forcefully frees herself and accuses Kkusum once again for causing her and her mother pain. Saying that Kkusum was the real cause of her mother's death. Kali tells Kkusum that she will never forgive her. Kali tells Kkusum that if she had not come into Abhay's life again, this would never have happened. Kali asks Kkusum to leave the kapoor house. Kumud is
shocked and livid to hear all this and comes close to Kali with the intention of giving her a piece of her mind to her, but Kkusum stops her and takes her away from there and out of the house.
Abhay performs the last ritual rites of Mahi, and he remembers the moments when he married Mahi. Kali is walking on the road and crying. She too recollects all the sweet and warm moments she shared with Mahi. After giving fire to Mahi's dead body, Abhay hugs his father and
cries. Abhay's Dad, Kapil and Aryaman all feel sorry for Abhay.
Kkusum and Kumud reach home. Kumud asks Kkusum as to why did she stop her from talking to Kali. Kkusum explains that Kali was in a state of shock, because she lost her mother, so she had to stop Kumud. Kumud still insist that Kali did wrong by blaming Kkusum in front of all people. Kkusum tells Kumud that if she thinks about Kali as Kumud's mother, she would never have liked to see her face again because of what she did to Kumud, but if she thinks of Kali as her daughter, then she can understand Kali's pain. Kkusum asks Kumud as to how did she feel when they were not on speaking terms? Kkusum tells Kumud that she should be able to relate to Kali's pain since Kali lost her mother forever. Kumud unconvinced, tells Kkusum that she too understands Kali's pain but it was wrong on her part to have blamed Kkusum in front of everybody.
Harry is very restlessly walking in the room. He asked Nakul if he has no tension about the whole event. Nakul tells Harry that even if he had tension, would he get the solution if he paced restlessly like him. Harry tells Nakul that what if his watch is found by someone, then he also will go to Jail along with Nakul as an accomplice. Nakul asks Harry to shut up.
Garv is standing behind Kali as she was crying. Garv asks Kali as to why did she talk to Abhay rudely in front of all. Kali tells him that its because' of Abhay and Kkusum that she lost her Mom. Garv then tells Kali that ACP has asked her to come to Police Station for interrogation. Kali gets worried on hearing to this. Garv asks Kali that how come she was at the Hotel when she was supposed to be out with her friends. Kali is stunned now and pretends like she can't remember anything and then tells Garv that she that her head hurts. Garv asks her to relax and says that he will talk to Kali later and leaves telling her that he will accompany her to the Police Station. Kali gets worried now and calls Nakul.
Nakul gets Kali's call. Kali tells Nakul that she had been called to the Police Station for interrogation. Nakul is now worried. Kali asks Nakul as to what will she say if he asked her how come Kali was there at the Hotel. Nakul advises Kali to tell the Police that her Mom had called her there. Kali gets angry and tells Nakul rudely that she will not tell lies with Mom's name and cuts the phone. Harry asks Nakul as to what Kali said. Nakul tells to Harry that she had been called to Police Station. Harry panics again now and tells Nakul that they are dead for sure this time. Nakul asks Harry to shut up and asks him to let him think. Nakul is worried that Kali blabbing nonsense at the Police Station, because if their stories don't collaborate they will be in trouble.
Abhay and Kkusum come into the room of the ACP, and take a seat. ACP informs them that the post-mortem reports have not come yet and this was a routine enquiry. The ACP asks Abhay as to how the relations were between him and Mahi. Abhay replies that the relations were normal. ACP then asks Abhay if there was any confrontation between him and Mahi at the party. Abhay replies that there was no such thing at the party. Kkusum is surprised at Abhay's answer but keeps quiet. ACP asks Kkusum that whether she had taken divorce from Abhay to which Kkusum replies in the negative. Then, ACP blurts out that 'coz Mahi was illegal wife of Abhay (since he has not yet divorced Kkusum); this might have been the cause of her death. Abhay replies that there was no such relation between him and Kkusum and also Abhay tells the ACP that Mahi knew this fact. ACP asks Kkusum what she saw when she went into Mahi's room. Kkusum
replies that when she went to Mahi's room to talk to her, the electricity failed, then she tripped over something and fell 'coz she couldn't see in the dark, and when the electricity came back, all she saw was Mahi falling from the window. Kkusum starts crying saying that she couldn't do anything to save her. ACP asks Kkusum to relax and asks her to take water. ACP tells them that they can leave.
Garv and Kali come to the Police Station. Kumud sees Garv with Kali and is dejected. The entire Kapoor family is angry with Kali. Abhay and Kkusum come out of the ACP room and see Garv and Kali. Abhay is upset and walks past them angrily without saying a word, and all members follow him. Kali is called inside the room and Garv also follows her. Kumud is hurt seeing Garv follow Kali to the ACP room.
Abhay is with his lawyer and is stunned to know that the Will is missing. The lawyer tells Abhay that he had kept the file in this bag only but now it is missing. The lawyer tells Abhay that the file might have been stolen. Abhay is angry(Man--- you are still alive --write another will to counter the stolen one 😆 )
ACP asks Garv as to who he is. Gar replies that he is a lawyer. ACP tells Kali that they came to know that Abhay had disowned her and she was also not on the invitee list, then why did she go to the Hotel. Kali replies that her Mom was missing her and so her Mom had called her to say something. Garv is surprised to hear this. Kali secretly apologises to Mahi that she didn't have any other option available to her now. A Police Inspector comes into the room and informs ACP that on the same night, some thieves broke into the Hotel. Kali is shocked to hear this. The ACP asks the Police Inspector whether the thieves were caught, but the Inspector replies in the negative. The ACP tells the Inspector that they will have to visit the Hotel again. Kali is extremely worried to hear this.
