Hey guys,
Here is an SS. I'm writing it in parts so bear with me. Time is what I don't have. I hope that you guys enjoy.😊
Chapter One -----A dream
Shivani awoke with a start. She looked around the room and heaved a sigh of relief. She was glad that she was actually in her bedroom. She realized that she was just having a nightmare and yet the dream seemed so real...She got out of bed and slowly made her way to the kitchen. A hot cup of chai was what she needed to calm her nerves... She hads only just turned on the lights and was about to put the water to boil when she heard a voice behind her.
"And what do you think you are doing young lady?" it was daaju's voice.
"Daaju! What are you doing up at this ongodly hour?", Shivani questioned her grandfather.
"I was about to ask you the same thing."
"Daaju, i was going to make a cup of chai..."
"Oh no. you could have woken up someone to do so for you. Do you know how dangerous boiling water can be??????? what if you had gotten burned?"
Shivani opened her mouth to say something but then thought better of it. Her grandfather had raised her and was a bit overprotected o her. He never allowed her to do things. He kept pampereing and spoiling her.
"What are you doing up shivani?" daaju wanted to know..
she was going to tell him about her strange dream but she didn't want to worry him. Instead she told him that she couldn't sleep and decided to make chai.
Daaju ordered her back to her room saying that he would have someone prepare her chai and bring it to her. She reluctantly left. She passed her parents portrait on the corridor. SHe paused and looked at their photo. They had died died in a car crash when Shivani and her brother Jaswant were very young children. She had no memories of them. All her memories were of her and daaju. A single tear rolled down her cheek as she watched her parents photo. Daaju never let her lack anything but she wanted a mother figure. Someone in whom she could confide in. Her Bhabi, Mahima was always occupied and never found time to spend with her. She took one more look at the photo and whispered, "What do i do aai and baba? My situation is such that i need the advise of my elders. I cannot tell Daaju. And then i had a weird dream!" She turned and left for her room.
Under the softness of her covers, she recalled her dream...
Her dream had started of quite normal. She was sitting in the family room selecting some deginer clothing. She had shown daaju her selection and he was pleased. Her clothes were paid for. She turned to leave but something held her dress. She whirled around and let out a blood piercing scream. Holding on to her dress was a sinister looking man. One she had never seen before. The strange thing about the man was that he was covered in blood. Daaju had disappeared and it was only she that was left with the man.
"Shivani!!!!!!!!!!!" the man's voice was barely a whisper.
"W-w-who a-r-are you?"Shivani stammered.
The man refused to answer.
Shivani had turned to run. "Running is useless Shivani!" The man rasped. She fought to free herslef from his hold. She started running but the man was hot on her tale.
"Shivani! You cannot excape me... I will be in your life soon enough! Just wait and see how i ruin you! I'm coming soon Shivani. Remember that!" He gave a sinister laugh and Shivani had awoken with fright.
She shuddered thinking about this dream and its meaning... She decided that she would confide in her bodyguard Raghu tomorrow. He would know what to make of it. she fell asleep thinking about Raghu..
Daaju came just then with the chai but he saw that she had fallen asleep. He smiled. Shivani was such an innocent girl. He pulled the covers over her and gently kissed her on the forehead. Tomorrow he would give her the surprise of her life...he turned and left the room with Shivani sleeping blissfully unaware of her future...
