Chapter 4---- Shivani Faints
Raghu caught Shivani just before she hit the floor. He scooped her up in his strong arms and carried her to the sofa. The look of worry was evident on his face.
"Baby Ji??????"
Shivani was still unconscious. Daaju ordered the maid to bring a glass of water. He handed the water to Raghu. Raghu took some and sprinkled it on shivani's face. Slowly she began to come to. She opened her eyes and the first person she saw was Raghu. She reached up for him and hugged him. This surprised everyone including Raghu.
Daaju immediately cleared his throat.
"Shivani! What are you doing" and then having thought for a second he asked,"How are you dear? do you need to see a doctor?"
Shivani realized that she was hugging Raghu and dropped her hands, feeling embarrased.
"I'm fine daaju. I just felt faint all of a sudden."
"Ok dear. go to your room and rest. We will discuss about your marriage later."
This seem to upset Shivani further and she stole a glance at Raghu. She needed to talk to him.
"Daaju, i think that i just need some fresh air."
She turned and walked out into the garden.
"Abhi, I'm sorry. Shivani must have been surprised to her about her sudden marriage. Don't worry son, I will make her understand. You go to the room and rest."
Abhi ad been silent for the few minutes when Shivani was unconscious. The hug between Shivani and Rghu hadn't gone unnoticed either. He turned and left the room.
Daaju turned to Raghu. "Raghu, this marriage is very important. Shivani will not listen to me but she listens to you. Please convince her for this marriage. Abhi is a very important business man and if he marries into my family I will have someone tho hand over the reins of my business industry to. We all know that Jass is a complete waste of time. I need someone dependable to take over my business. Abhi has agreed to get married to Shivani. Love will eventually follow. Please make Shivani understand."
Every word that daaju spoke was like a blow to Raghu's stomach. He was painfully reminded that he could not be part of Shivani's world. He was just the servant and Shivani's body guard. But still he loved her.
Daaju was saying something, but was was lost to Raghu. He was lost in thought.
"Ok Raghu."
Raghu snapped back into reality. He nodded at daaju, still not having heard the last of what he was saying.
"I'm depending on you Raghu. Please convince her."
Raghu nodded and turned toward the garden.
He found Shivani sitting on the bench looking like an angel. Her beauty stopped his breath. How was he supposed to tell the woman he loved to get married to someone else. This was going to be very hard. He slowly walked toward where Shivani was sitting. He wanted nothing but the best for her.
Shivani turned when she heard the footsteps behind her. She wiped away the tears from her eyes and tried to smile at Raghu. It hurt Raghu to see tears in his beloved eyes. He felt helpless.
"Raghu." Shiavni said his name and smiled.
"Baby ji..." Raghu could not find the words to say.
Shivani invited Raghu to sit next to her. She turned to him and tried to smile. "Raghu, ..." She was at a lost for words.
Even Raghu found it difficult to say any thing. Thay sat in silence for a while, each contemplating with to say to the other...
