Chapter Two----Raghu realizesRaghu got up and smiled... today was was going to be a very special...He continued smiling... His mother came into the room and saw the huge smiled plasterd across his face... she had never seen her son so happy before... She wondered what caused him to smile.
"Well someone is in a good mood this morning!"
Raghu turned at the sound of his mother's voice. He went and saught her blessings. "Maa."
"Bless you son. Go get cleaned up and then come out for breakfast." His mother turned and left...
Alone in his room, Raghu thought about what he was going to do today. He prayed that God would give him the strength to say what he wanted... he again thought about what he was going to do. At that very moment his cell phone rang... It was Ms. Rana. He smiled.
"Yes Baby Ji, tell me."
"Raghu I am sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning, but what time will you be here? I need to talk to about something."
"Baby ji, I will be there shortly. Even I need to talk to you."
"Ok. And Raghu, please hurry."
Shivani hung up the phone...
Raghu hastily got dressed. I did'nt want to be late for Ms. Rana. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for her.. He sat on his bed and remembered...
He had been working for Shivani's grandfather for quite some time now. He was the trusted and loyal servant to daaju.
Raghu had known Shivani very well. It was his job to protect and keep her from the dangers of the world. She had a very overprotective grandfather.
Raghu always regarded her as a spoilt rich girl who had everything at her beck and call. But one day all that changed...
It was a beautiful day just like any other. Raghu arrived for duties at the Rana mansion. Daaju had eft for a meeting and had instructed Raghu to keep a close watch over Shivani. All was alright until Ms. Rana decided that she needed some fresh air. She ran outside and went to the pool. Raghu had tried to get her to return inside but that was to no avail. Shivani would not listen to him. She sat at the edge of the pool and happily splashed her feet in the water.
Raghu decided that no harm would come to shivani so he went about doing his worked. But at that moment, Shivani had gotten up and was about to leave the area when she suddenly slipped and fell into the pool. Had only had time to shout raghu's name. He had turned and was shell shocked. He immediately ran to where baby ji was. he saw her struggling under the water. In a panic he jumped into the water to save her. He had forgotten that he couldn't swim. All that mattered was baby ji.
His body hit the water in an instant and he grabbed hold of shivani. But in her struggle she pulled him down deeper. He grabbed hold of her waist and tried to smile to the surface. He brought her up and laid her on the ground. She was unconscious at this time. Raghu was panic stricken and didn't know what to do... He performed CPR on her and finally she started coughing up the water she had swallowed. She looked up at him and smiled...
"My saviour." was all she said to Raghu.
Raghu felt strange holding baby ji in his arms. He felt stranger still gazing into to her eyes. He could probably get lost gazing into her eyes...At this thought, he immediately stood up embarrased. Shivani's grandfather would have his hide if he found out what he was thinking.
"Baby ji, if anything had happen to you, i would have never forgiven myself."
Shivani saw the fear in Raghu's eyes. She knew that daaju will blame him for her carelessness. She didn't want her trusted bodyguard to lose his job over this... She felt sorry that she had put him in this position.
She reached up to hug him. Raghu was surprised. He was able to smile her sweet perfume. Her wet clothes clung to her body and she looked innocently at him. At that moment, Raghu had felt something stir inside of him. He did not know what it was. All he knew was that he felt different and that this feeling was strange to him.
Meanwhile Shivani realized that she was hugging her body guard. She let go of him and said,"Raghu, please don't tell daaju what happened to me today. I'm sorry for this. But please, daaju will hit the roof if he found out. Please."
At that moment Raghu realized that he would sdo anything for her so i gave her his word that he would not tell her grandfather.
That incident had taken place weeks ago, and as Raghu sat on his bed remembering, he got all the more determined to do what he set out to do.
He left for work with the intention of professing his love to shivani...
