Fans of Rajkumar Santoshi's Aamir Khan and Salman Khan laugh riot Andaz Apna Apna who were anxiously waiting to see the film in an animated version in 3D are in for a shock.The film titled Andaz Naya Naya that was being produced by Siddharth Jain's iRock Films India, has been postponed indefinitely. Revealing that the project has been delayed because of funds crunch, Siddharth averred, "I think the animation format has not picked up in India. It held a lot of promise a few years ago, but not anymore. If the situation improves, I shall definitely go back to the film."
According to reports, the movie that was estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 15 crore is almost 35 per cent complete with Salman Khan already giving his nod to lend his voice to the film.
The Rajkumar Santoshi directed Andaz Apna Apna, that also starred Paresh Rawal, Karisma Kapoorand Raveena Tandon, has achieved a cult status over the years.
