When you talk about the young lads Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Shantanu Maheshwari who essay lead roles in Cinevistaas Ltd's popular Channel [V] show Dil Dostii Dance, the first thing that crops up in our minds is the great equation of friendship that they share both on screen as well as off the screen.

As Rey and Swayam, loyal viewers of the show have been witnessing a great bond of friendship between them. However, with the entry of the tricky and cunning Aditya (Sehban Azim), their friendship seems to have hit a road block. And the recent Mega Monday episode aired on 26 August 2013 wherein Rey slaps Swayam is proof enough for that.

The sequence must say, was dramatic and intense and the actors gave their best shot. But we do hear that Amar and Shantanu found the sequence too tricky to shoot for. Being the best of friends in real life too, they knew that they had to get the scene right, at the same time see to it that they do not hurt the other's sentiments or ego while shooting it.

Says Kunwar Amar, "We were laughing just before shooting this tough sequence, as this was the first time we had to shoot for such a sequence for D3. Rey has always been supportive towards Swayam, and vice versa. While shooting the sequence, I was weary of the fact that I should not slap Shantanu hard, at the same time I wanted the scene to look as real as possible. So it was a tough call, but being professional actors we pulled it off well."

Shantanu feels the scene was justified. "The way the track was progressing, we knew something was to give way (smiles). Either Rey had to slap me or Swayam had to slap Rey. Rey who was being brainwashed by Aditya was justified in his thought process, and the same can be said of Swayam. As professional actors, we had to do justice to the scene. But it was indeed tough for me and Amar to shoot this sequence. I went on telling him to not slap me hard (smiles)."

Aah this is friendship for you!! And of course, good justice done as actors, buddies!!!
