let's look at it thsi way....would SRK have survived like AB Jr did despite giving some 15 odd flops?---- NO, He wouldn't!
Every1 else has alwys had some1 else to bail them out except SRK. Hrithik always has his father to bail him out if his films don't do well. Ab Jr has so many friends in the industry who r ready to make movies with him and anyway his dad usually stars in the movie with him--so the producers get an ek lo ek muft offer! Aamir Khan intially had the security of his cousing Mansoor Khan, who gave Aamir two of his biggest hits. Salman Khan has a legendary scrpit writer as a father, so he too has gr8 contacts.
Who did SRK have when he came into the industry? Ppl say, he is what he is today, coz of all the roles he does in the Yashraj movies.....but he had to EARN that place in Yashraj---nothing was served to him on a platter.
As for Abhi being better than SRK....OK, if we r talking 'commercial viability' then no one not even Big can beat SRK at that! And if we r talking abt performances then Ab Jr has a Guru to his credit. SRK on the other hand gave Darr, Baazigar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, DDLJ all in his intial yrs....and recently, his performance his Swades and Veer Zaara were superb.
It took Ab Jr 7 yrs in the industry to give a Guru like performance....SRk would've been kicked out frm the industry if he took 7 yrs to find his bearings!
I'm not a huge fan of SRk (Except when he's on KBC😳) but I do appreciate the man's determination and talent (which I often feel he's wasting doing too many romantic roles)
