I am so mad at Jagya for inviting his friends to the home, and then for making Ganga cook and make tea, especially when she is fasting. 😡😡
How rude and insensitive.
If he wanted to meet his Mangalore based ex-classmates, he could easily have met them somewhere at a restaurant. Why invite them to the home and then make Ganga serve tea and samosas as if she is a maid to them? She should be studying or spending time with Manu.
He should not bring all sorts of guests to her home as if it is an 'adda'.
And now it is proven that one of the professors of ganga's college is his ex-classmate. He said ganga's performance on the 1st day was excellent..
The ex-classmate could have taken care of ganga's admission and housing. There was no need for Jagya to have gone to Mangalore out of "responsibility"
So, he can give the responsibility of ganga to his friend and not bother so much and attend to his engagement.

It's his personal spiritual quest and atonement. Why should be palm it off to Someone else? Geez, it's like someone telling the priest here, pray for me and you expect God to answer your prayers without any personal faith or effort from your side.

When she was cooking, he did tell her that she didn't have to cook, he could have ordered food from outside.

I liked the scene for several reasons. They showed Jagya not fasting. They addressed his MS Studies in front of Ganga. Ganga has been his prerna so maybe he will resume the studies. And they spoke of Gauri after a looong time. Nice scene.

P.s and they even indicated that he was NOT staying in the same house as Ganga but in some hotel.

I am disappointed with J, but for other reasons.

Is it right for J to ignore his fiance on teej and spend it with someone else with whom he finds solace & peace? If he is so comfortable with G, then what exactly is he doing by committing to Sa?

However disgusting and mean Sa is, J is equally wrong. Giving gifts to another female, and not sparing a single thought one's own would-be wife. Absolutely unfair.

And he had only gone to see her welfare right, then why does he need to stay in Mangalore overnight? Can he not just leave immediately after spending an hour or two with her?

How is Sa wrong in feeling bad / insecured?

@Picasso - yes fine, but why not take all of them to a restaurant, INCLUDING GANGA.
Why do the four of them chat, and ganga plays hostess??

Nothing much -- one of the friends insensitively asked about gauri. Long silence from Jagya and the others all stared the bigmouth down.
Then he said "I want to leave the past behind and look towards the future"
Everyone nodded, and ganga too seemed pleased with his reply.

yes surabhi, but his protest was feeble, and he should have thought about this before his friends showed up... and had a plan ready for food. He should have told her "this is the plan, I am ordering from outside, no need for you to cook" BEFORE they came.
But no... he waited till his friends showed up and then they all started gappa maaroing, so naturally ganga will go inside and start making food. She thought it will be rude to send them away without food.
