Now that we at the Forum have established that the AsYa nikhah is a thing of fantasies and probably never going to happen, let's get down to the more practical realities.
The question of when will Zoya and Asad start using their first names. Isn't it weird for 2 people who have gone out of their way to declare their love, to the point of embarrassing themselves, to continue to refer to each other by their surname?
I guess I find it even weirder that Asad could refer to Ms Farooqi as Zoya when declaring his love at Ajmer but now that she is practically his fiance, he calls her Ms Farooqi.
