Today's Take - Cracks Appear

Sorry for the late take ... will be posting late this week ... am travelling.

Quick episode recap - Umaben leaves for yatra, tells CC to take over ... blessings for her job, but she should hide her marital status, or the fact that she is BS bahu? Why? Does working degrade the BS name? 😕

Chhanchhan starts work ... nerd man smitten 😳 CC hides her marital status.

Rupali comes for dinner, still carrying a torch for Manav apparently ... the scene was very disjointed because it was obviously shot without Anuj ...

Manav seemed to be enjoying that Rupali didn't hide her crush on him, and his brothers' teasing ... didn't notice once that Chhanchhan was not happy at all ... Kaumudi was far more sensitive. All Manav wanted to do after dinner was romance his wife again ... and wondered why she was upset.

Tut tut, Manav, I thought your hubby training was going well ... back to Lesson One again ... NEVER praise or even admit to noticing any other girl when wife is around. As for enjoying reminiscences of college days ... a big No No 😡 .. unless you add how young and foolish you were those days, and how lonely ... till you met your soulmate ... something along those lines ...
Lots more training required ... Manav just relapsed back to immature youngest child.

Nerd man falls some more for Chhanchhan.

Manav down in the dumps in family conference ... even the RS bhabhis are doing better than him and helping their husbands ... or rather, their family is helping ... But so what, once upon a time, it was Umaben's dowry that helped their family, now it's the bhabhis' family money ... same thing.
Chhanchhan is deeply upset that he can even think of wanting financial help from her family ...

I cannot believe how insensitive and dense the guys were at the dinner table. And to keep harping about past 'loves' in front of the wife! They were completely clueless, how uncomfortable Chhan Chhan was. Couldn't they see? Couldn't Manav see??? He was actually enjoying this!! And did Manav have eyes only for Rupali?? (Are all Indian men like this? This happened in her previous show, too!) Now I wonder how Manav would feel if Chhan Chhan behaved like this? Oh wait! I forget! There is a double standard going on here. What's good for the goose is not good for the gander!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did not like Manav today...he was so insensitive & clueless.

Agree with all ... Manav was totally insensitive today! 😕 And so were the brothers ... but they were at least more concerned abut the deal. Manav seemed to be enjoying the memories 😡

And he wants CC's family to help ... Manav lost lots of accumulated Brownie points today!

Lovely post as always. The CVS had Manav behaving like an idiot today...who does that? Certainly not a man absolutely in love but I want to believe his romantic overtures were obviously because he loves CC and this 'other' person meant nothing (yea, I know what you are thinking 😉)!!

Everybody has pretty much said what I wanted to say.

Manav...very bad today. 👎🏼 😡

The creatives seemed to have meshed two tracks together or even three...ChhanMan's MU, family competition and sibling rivalry and maybe Manthan' s angst. So, lot is happening and very fast.

I guess there was a big disappiontment factor in watching the episode today as we all really just want romance at this point but I guess with Sanz rehearsing for JDJ and Anuj in Poland for the ad shoot this was the best they could do. I understand that they can't just show a honeymoon track for the remainder of the show but I am wondering at the need for Rupali and geek except that at the end ChanMan are going to come out stronger.
