Katrina's Loss is Aishwarya's Gain

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, though away from the movie circuit for a while, is always in the news with her social campaigns or endorsements. Though Aishwarya happily unveiled a real estate project recently, becoming their brand ambassador, news is that this huge deal was first promised for the other gorgeous lady of B-town - Katrina Kaif.

Apparently, Katrina Kaif was in for a rude shock when she realized that the offer had slipped from her hand and landed in the kitty of Mrs Bachchan. As per Mid-day, the deal with Kat had proceeded to the extent of her even signing the dotted line. However, for some reason the plans changed and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was signed on.

Buzz is that Katrina was very upset with this development, specially since she was not even notified about it. Mid-day reported the spokesperson of the Real Estate company as saying, "We were in discussions with various individuals and could not proceed with Katrina due to certain clashes in her positioning vis-a-vis our brand positioning. The discussions with her took place in May and early June. The fact that they have woken up now to the issue after so long, shows that this is nothing but an usual case of sour grapes.€
