Today's Take - Double Trouble

Babuji sticks to his resolve of competition between his sons to judge who is worthy of taking over his mantle ... daughters-in-law are included in the competition.

This is where the other three actually score over Chhanchhan ... Kaumudi with her sewing and embroidery skills, RanSan with achar making abilities. Chhanchhan knows nothing except dog training ... and there's not much scope for making too much money through that.
Ranjana was rather pleased to have scored a point over Chhanchhan for once! 😕

RanSan fumble at the start though ... by neglecting home and wifely duties for their new found enthusiasm for work. Chhanchhan gets busy with making dinner ... besides she's still not thought of anything she can do 😭

Manav fumbles at work by annoying an old client ... brothers are mad at him. Second fail - first was when he didn't get the papers signed in time by Babuji. He is useless. Poor Manav's confidence takes a beating.

Chhanchhan earns Brownie points for remembering that dinner has to be made along with business plans ... and for catering to Babuji's health alongside. Belatedly remembers her old friend, the internet ... job searches and applications are all online these days!

Manav is down and depressed ... Chhanchhan comforts him and tells him she's trying for a job to help him ... after all, they're partners in everything.

RanSan are worried that Kaumudi is sweeping ahead with her embroidery orders ... but a spot of nepotism comes in handy (we know all about that!😉) Maayka to the rescue ... an order for achar for 6 lakhs.
Are their maayka valas feeding an army?! 😆

And two new entries make an appearance ... Double Trouble for ChhanMan 😲
Manav's old college friend is not happy at all with the news of his marriage ...
Chhanchhan lands herself a job in double quick time, and manages to impress random nerdy looking dude in office ...
I noticed that Chhanchhan's mangalsutra and sindoor were conspicuous by their absence in the scene with Mr Nerd ... trouble ahead for sure 😕
Manav has some not-so-good news for Chhanchhan ... what is it? 😲

Precap - Manav upset because RanSan's maayka have chipped in to help RanSan, he doesn't have anyone to help him ...
Chhanchhan is even more upset ... do you expect my family to bail you out? 😲

With all competition stiff fat 9 pm band..i a expecting this ...people in our country love hubby wife fighting and husband wife mu.,wife sad...

Justifying Umaben's stand that family money can help in times of trouble ... to some extent ...
While Chhanchhan and Manav will show that there is no substitute for one's own hard work ... and money you get as gift is only temporary help ...

I hope they show both sides of the picture, but they should not justify taking money from the girls' maayka ... not under any pretext ... If given, it should be clear that it's not given under force ... but on the other hand, a daughter has a right on her inheritance from her parents the same way a son does.

Self made man or not... that's what we are going to see... because if a man is self-made , he can pick himself up and get going no matter what the trouble... he has the courage to face it or has already faced it!!

By my count after Kaumudi, Maithali,Dadaji and Rugwed the new girl is the 5th member of the SBS cast to make it onto this show. This PH seems to stick by it's people and maybe that explains their reluctance to get rid of someone even though we were all screaming ourselves hoarse.

That to me is the essence of this track... we were all cribbing about Manav not working, being a spoilt child , being handed the business on the platter... now let's see how he figures out his life... and wife!!

FIL health - is he already well, now? (First unrealistic thing about this show.) Disturbance in the household and challenges. Did FIL say the one who makes the most money? Or the one who is the most intelligent?? Can a whole lifetime of relationships and living together be forgotten because of competition? New entries - college friend hasn't seen guy since ages, yet carrying a torch for him (Second unrealistic thing about this show.)
