CC & Kaumadi r definitely ahead of them due to the fact that they r genuinely concerned and manage both ends...work and home..
balance act will be needed as well as NOT using shortcuts! cz the point of this exercise is to find out which one will succeed in protecting and taking the family up.. its not gonna be feasible to turn to the mayka whenever trouble hit..n babuji will be intelligent enough to know this.

But well I honestly am not very sure about Manav.. well not so bad lol cz all 4 brothers r equally bad i guess.. All r annoying! :p

I guess in CC's case n Manav's its always that Manav has been the youngest in the family and thus used to get the easy way out and not have too much responsibility..n now having a hard time with it cz neither r his elder bros used to trusting him with responsibility as he is to taking it up and taking the blame if he screws up..
in CC's case, in the new house she might be the baby bahu.. but she is the eldest in her own home n is more level headed and sensible..it sure is a good thing for Manav that he married her in this sense! He would have gone crazy with a different sort of wife!

btw Dia di - did Manav's friends kinda remind u of someone? CJ from MJHT? lol i was trying to place who it was n just now remembered...kinda the cocky attitude less feminine... (CJ was way nicer which is beside the point 😛)

MJHT CJ was nice ... this girl will make trouble for Manav, which will make him even more depressed ... and if CC does well in her work then the comparisons will create tension ... but in 12 days? 😕 Can't figure that one out!

CC is more sensible and grounded, plus she has worked on her own before ... handled her dog owner clients, and she is the eldest in her house, so that added maturity is there ... while Manav was always the more immature and impetuous one ... being the youngest, its natural.

Yes, it's not just about earning more money, it's about being balanced and handling both business and home in the right way, and being able to carry everyone with you ... Or that's what it should be 😛

This track is heading where most of us wanted it to, problems between ChanMan and ultimately their making up.

I guess the whole competition thing started in Babuji's and DDj's head because DDj heard the fight between the brothers. But wouldn't it be easier to just nominate Mugut as the eldest ... Or has his recent Mayuri escapade made him questionable? Manthan will not accept Mugut easily ... Manthan has always been very competitive ... and the first sign of trouble immediately brought out the hidden friction and disunity between the brothers ... Which does happen ... if the father is strong, the brothers stay united, the moment he dies, the brothers fall apart. Happens in real life ... lots of well known examples are there.

College friend still carrying a torch ... KKHH 😛

Manav getting upset ... if the show wasn't shutting down in three weeks, i wouldn't mind ... have been wanting some ChhanMan separation and tension. The first year of married life is full of fights and adjustments ... it's never so perfect! But if it is shutting down in three weeks, I want a honeymoon track ... not tension!
Though I guess we don't have to worry much .. with the cvs' track record, the MU can happen and be resolved in two days 😆

Actually it's triple trouble. Maithli still doesn't know about the Mayur-Mayuri business. And now Manav had to go and accuse the Sarabhais of not standing by him. How will they? If Ran-San's family chipped in, it's because they can order pickles. Chhanchhan doesn't have anything to sell to her family. Besides, among all the DILs , she;s the one most equipped to land a job. She's educated and smart. A steady income is any day better than a one-time influx of heavy cash. After all, Ran-San's family can't possibly ask for such a heft order every month, can they? They probably ordered all the achar they'll need for the next 10 years. The only couple who actually could win are Mukut and Kaumudi. Although for once CC scored one on her by remembering the dinner and dad's meds.

But I think it's also going to be about uniting the family and carrying it forward together ... that was the basic premise of the show ... and the cvs seem to be trying to end the show with that last track.

Wonder if the precap will come back to the dowry issue the show started with ...

I think San and Anuj were both on leave for a few days ... all the ChhanMan scenes were in the bedroom, just with change of clothes 😛 I want more ChhanMan now ... especially if the show is ending! Lots of ChhanMan ... I don't mind tension or fights, but the focus should be squarely on them. And a sweet makeup session ending with them going off on honeymoon! 😳

Actually you have a very good point there ... CC with her education is the one most equipped to help Manav ... and with him the family, in the long term. RanSan have only short term solution ... how many people will order lakhs worth of pickle every day? Or even every month? 😆

Yes, triple trouble ... Maithili is on the warpath ... and now she will see Manav with this new girl and all hell will let loose. Especially if there is tension between Chhanchhan and Manav for some time ...

Jaya, you are talking of two prong attack, there is also mama Sarabhai who thinks Manav is cheating on Chhanchhan. I like the issues this track is raising - insecurities, rivalries and jealousies raising their heads in wake of the challenge Mathilal put forth. I think this challenge is less about earning money but more about one's conduct and ethics when the going gets tough and facing problems headlong. Even Kaumudi slipped a bit today from being a perfect bahu, though it could also be due to her new found mission of being a perfect wife now.

It will take sometime to get used to seeing such a subdued Uma Ben. Wish they incorporate a few scenes of her talking to Mathilal about consequences of this challenge, she is supposed to be proactive in family matters.

Manav too is cracking under pressure and this is the first time he is being pushed to prove his worth. He will slip and fall , male chauvinism coming to the fore, and of course our Chhanchhan will be his moral anchor. Will his masculine ego also be hurt if Chhanchhan does better at work and refuse to take her parent's help?

Episodes bring up good issues, but execution keeps falling short so have to see what the creative's make of this track (now with added pressure of time). New entrants did arrive and mystery of missing mangalsutra and sindoor added to several other mysteries of running a daily soap.

I agree so much with you about Umaben ... wish they would give her more of a role here. She used to be the major decision maker, and she has gone completely quiet! Wonder why ... Supriya is still there in almost all the scenes.

Kaumudi slipped in bahu role today ... CC's mom was worried that CC in her enthusiasm to be good bahu, would forget about being good wife ... I wonder if Manav will feel that happening when CC starts working. CC will also refuse to take help from her family. And I also feel CC will do well at work, while Manav will have a few failures ... Rupali was not happy to hear about his marriage. So ego battles? What way will the ChanMan MU go?

The tracks and issues they raise are good .. the execution is where they always slip 😕
