€˜SaraswatiChandra€™ was the clear leader again amongst Asian shows in the UK last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The Saras-Kumud saga pulled in 221,300 viewers €" peaking at 247,000 viewers, followed by €˜Diya Aur Baati Hum€™ with 213,500 viewers and €˜Pyar Ka Dard Hai€™ with 170,200 viewers.
The others in the pecking order were €˜Veera€™ (155,600), €˜Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai€™ (128,700), €˜Meri Bhabhi€™ (128,100), €˜Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai€™ (81,500), €˜Saathiya€™ (72,600) and €˜Ek Ghar Banaunga€™ (57,500).
On Rishtey, €˜Bani €" Ishq Da Kalma€™ pulled in 89,800 viewers, followed by €˜Na Aana Iss Desh Laado€™ with 61,200 viewers and €˜Jeevan Saathi€™ with 44,100 viewers. The final episode of €˜Bairi Piya€™ had a disappointed end with 27,500 viewers.
On Star Life Ok, €˜Geet€™ (re-run) topped ratings again with 8,400 viewers, followed by €˜Do Dil Ek Jaan€™ (Maha Episode) with 8,00 viewers and €˜Savdhaan India€™ with 7,300 viewers. €˜Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon€™ in Hindi got a zero rating, whereas the English dubbed got just 200 viewers at 18:00.
On Zing, €˜Sa Re Ga Ma Pa€™ at 15:00 was the most watched show with 21,000 viewers, followed by €˜Bollywood Life€™ at 22:00, which got 18,700 viewers and €˜Two To Tango€™ with 12,000 viewers.
On Sony SAB TV, €˜Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah€™ got 67,900 viewers, followed by €˜Baal Veer€™ with 66,500 viewers and €˜Chidiyaghar€™ with 30,800 viewers.
