Part 36 - An U turn of life

Pari:Dad, I will miss u,... Kya aapko sach mein jaana jaroori hain kya

Chaya intervened and said "pari beta... U know, how much dad like to go to conferences right. So... we need to go beti"

Birju came in between and asked "But Dad, I didn't have any info of any conference on internet or paper or any where"

Hari: Actually... its just a confidential one so.. there's no news on it

Birju: But...

Dev: Hey how much will u eat Dad's brain with questions... Chill man

Radhika who came there with tickets in hand " Aunty tickets are confirmed"

Chaya: Thanks Radhu... for every thing

Radhika"Its my pleasure. "

Dev: Isko thanks bolne ki kya jaroorat hain maa... Tum ne bhi isko acha sa khyaal rakha tha na, jab iska accident hua.

Radhika;Tere, kya problem hain, when my aunt is thanking me

Dev: Badon se Thanks lena achi baat nahi hoti hain stupid

Radhika making her mouth wide open "Why did u call me stupid now"

Dev: Thats what u are stupid.

Radhika ran behind him and he started to get away from her... but finally Radhika got caught of him and gave him some good beats on wrist and all. When Hari was looking at Radhika and Dev , Chaya looked at them and said "These two people them selves become kids, how will they take care of Pari and Birju"

Hari: who's she...

Chaya:What happened

Hari came off from his thoughts and said "Nothing"

Chaya smiled and as their flight was announced, Radhika and Dev came back and they bid their good byes to Hari and Chaya. Radhika hugged Chaya and informed her "Aunty, every thing was arranged... RB will be waiting for u at Airport"

Chaya nodded, and they broke their hug

Ruby came home in anger, and directly went to RB's room.. As she opened the door, she saw RB struggling with his tie.. "RB"

RB looked at Ruby and said "Hey, how did ur vacation go. U were supposed to come tomorrow right"

Ruby:I heard some guests are coming

RB: Haan

Ruby:Did u atleast have an idea of what u are doing RB

RB:Hey chill what happened now

Ruby: RB.. what happens if they see me here, and what happens if Rohan knows who they are. Bichara Rohan think of him

RB: Chill ruby... they are not going to stay here..

Ruby: Whats necessary for u to take their responsibility

RB: He's equal to my bro, and I can't neglect my bro dear

Ruby: All becoz of Radhika... God knows why she behaves crazy at times

RB smiled and said " So, is this ur new way to take ur frustration on ur sister"

Ruby;U know well, that she's not my sister

RB shook his head off and said "Any way I need to go, see u. Take rest dear. "

Ruby:I am leaving, I came in between my vacation. I need to go. And mind u, my vacation will be continued for another one week

RB:hey why?

Ruby:I just don't want Rohan to hurt, and also our rehearsals are going on

RV:I know the name of my daughter stupid... and give me the confirmation of her address..

"Sir, she lives in the flat which is below the flat in which u are staying now"

An evil smirk escaped out of his lips "Yes... I got the confirmation, she's my daughter"

Radhika was pleading Pari who was hesitating to eat "Pari, please thoda khaa lo na"

Pari:Di.. I already have enough, please..

Radhika:U are my good girl right, have some yaar

she finally gave up and took the food, when Dev came all in tension , Radhika looked at a tensed Dev and asked "Kya hua"

" Birju gave me Maths"

Radhika broke into laugh as she know that Dev always hated maths...

Radhika: Wait I am coming..

Dev nodded and she left along with him and helped Birju with Maths and then after assuring that every thing was fine went to her flat .But as she went into her flat , she saw a person on Sofa and for her shock its RV..

"Uncle aap.."

Rv stood up and came to her, he looked at her and that look made Radhika dis comfortable "Uncle... aap kab aa gaye"

RV:Radhika, u know what, even my daughters name was Radhika.

Radhika looked at RV in shock...

RV: And u know what, my daughter used to have long hair and big eyes, and she too used to have that care me not attitude. Because of some reasons I didn't spend with her, and after my wife's death I lost her.

Radhika continued to stare at him..

Rv: I searched for he through the whole country, I checked for her every where, but unable to find her. Of all this what I ignored is very minor details, later when I met u at Bharka's birthday party, felt immediately connected with u. U always remembered me of my daughter,and that day I took pledge to get my daughter back

Radhik: But why are u telling all this to me uncle

RV: I never opened up my self to Bharka, but I opened up to u... why? why? I never understand, today I came to know of it

Radhika continued to look at him..

RV;Because u are my daughter, u are the Princess Radhika ...

Radhika: For ur kind info Mr.RaghuVansh ji, I am Radhika, just Radhika. I am no where a Princess

RV: Radhika bitiyaa, I am ur father

Radhika closed the door of the flat and then dragged the false wall which she kept ... RV looked there and it all had photos of Radhika and her mom..

Radhika: Jaante ho Raghuvansh saab... ye meri bachpana hain, mujhe abhi bhi yaad hain kaise apni bachpan mein main akhele school jaati hain, jab baakhi sab ke liye apni paap vuske chod dete hain.. jaante hain har din mein apni maa se ye pochte ki meri papa kyun mere saath nahi aate hain. Tab mumma, mujhse kya batati hain jaante ho, Mein hi tere paapa aur mumma hoon. Jab meri maa hi meri paapa aur mumma hain, tab aap mere baap hone ki baat kaha see aya

RV:Radhika, mein jaanti hoon, mujhse galti hua, lekin aapki maa hi mujhse chod kar gaya, vo baat alag hain

Radhika:Rukiye, RV saab, Baat kya hain, mujhe nahi maloom, lekin meine dekha vus din, aapki haath mein revolver hain, aur aap meri maa ko maar diya. Mein vo baat kabhi nahi bhul sakti hoon. Isliye please kripa karke yaha se jaayiye

RV: I came for my daughter, i won't leave with out her

Radhika: There's no one here named Radhika Raghuvansh, she was dead, she was dead the very day when her father killed her mom, and her father went for parliament session instead of coming to see his wifes dead body. So please go from here

RV:U doesn't know the whole truth

Radhika closed her ears and said "Doesn't even wanna know. please go our from here, if u stay for another second, I will kill my self. Just leave"
Rv smirked and when he was abt to leave, he turned back and said " I will get my daughter on any cost"

Saying this he left and Radhika sat there on her knees crying.

Rohan was having good time with manvi, in the past few days, he developed good relation with manvi, and she was like a sister to him. He saw Manvi, sadly staring into some space and went to her " Di, ek baat poocho"

Manvi nodded her head in yes,

Rohan: Di, aapki lover ka naam kya hain

Manvi in a jerk looked at Rohan...

Rohan:I know it, the whole story which u were doing, its ur own right

ManviL: How did u know

Rohan: That day I saw the intensity in ur eyes when u are saying it, and thought.. later when I saw u briefly, I understood it. koun hain di wo lada, jo aapko itna takleef diya

Manvi:Hain ek pagal, jo humesha apne dil ko tooth na pasand karta hain

Lekin wo bahut bura hain, wo teri jaise ladki ka dil tootha

Manvi:Nahi Rohan, u never know about him, so leave it

Rohan: kya aap aaj bhi vusko vutna hi pyar karta hain

Manvi:Haan aur marne tak karti rehungi.

just then he got a call from radhika, he thought to ignore it but his gut feeling told him that she was in trouble, so he lifted the call "Hello Radhu!!"

On the other side Radhika was crying "Rohan, vusko pata chal gya"

Rohan: Kya pata chal gaya

Radhika: Rv knows its me

Rohan:What?? but how?

Radhika : I don't know, I am so much worried,he will take me off

Rohan:Radhika tum chinta mat karo... nothing happens to u, koun hain tere saath

Radhika:Koi nahi hain

Rohan: Acha ek minute, main abhi call karunga tujhe

Radhika nodded in yes, and then Rohan here clled Dev :Hello Dev

Dev:Hey Rohan, what a surprise...

rohan: Kaha ho tum

Dev:Is waqt mein kaha hoga, ghar mein hoga

Rohan: Can u please go to Radhika once... she need some one

Dev: Radhika! what happened to her, i came from her just an hour back, any way going...

Rohan: If u can please stay with her this night, she need some one... she was just in vulnerable state

Dev:I will, tum chinta mat karo

Rohan:How can't I , she's my best friend

Dev:I know, but please... U are not here, u shouldn't be so much worried, it will affect u... please

Rohan: Please take care of my friend

Dev:Listen Rohan, she's my life, I will take good care of my life.

Rohan felt happier to hear this, finally Radhika got her love, but at the same time he was concerned for Radhika :Thanks, Dev, please go"

Dev kept the phone and went to Radhikas flat, to see her lying on the ground crying, there was pain and fear written all over her face, Dev never saw Radhika in a more vulnerable state , he rushed to her and as soon as she saw him she hugged him tightly and started to cry.

Dev:Kya hua

Radhika:Wo... wo... w..o... aayega Dev, wo mujhe.. le.. jaayega

Dev:Koun aayega Radhu, koi nahi aayega

Radhika:Nahi... vusse.. sab kuch pata chala, vo mujhe yaha se le jaayega

Dev:Kisse

Radhika:RV ko...

Dev got the shock of his life "Kya"

Radhika:Haan Dev sachi, vusse sab kuch pata chal gaya hain, vo mujhe le jaane ki pratigna lekhar gaya hain

Dev hugged her tightly, the very thought of going her away from him pained him and also the pain of Radhika was very much vulnerable , Dev hugged her tightly and said :I am here na, Nothing will happen to u. No one will take u away"

Radhika:Sachi

Dev:Muchi

Radhika hugged him more tightly as if air will seperate him from her, so that his grip on her will be loosen if ever RV comes to take her away, and Dev to assured her. She was fearing for her wildest fears to come true... she doesn't wanna live that night mares, which she have during countless nights. She was crying like that when all the childhood memories of her came haunting, and doesn't know when she fell a sleep in his arms. Dev thought of leaving her as she slept, but he doesn't want to break her trust in him, though it was a small matter, so he clutched her tight to him, giving her warmth and sat there. it was then he heard some voices, he looked at clock and it was at night 2:00am , he looked around and then understood the voice was from radhika, he smiled seeing her murmuring like a little chid and then heard what she was murmuring
"Mumma..Paapa bahut bure hain, he killed u he was very bad mumma, I doesn't want to go to him, I wanna stay here mumma.. U hold me like this only tightly na, I am feeling like heaven, please stay with me forever like this mumma, don't go back. I miss u a lot mumma.." Hearing this Dev felt tears from his eyec, he know, Radhika loves her mom more than any person in the world, He never expected Radhika to imagine him as her mom, and that day he decided him self that no matter what happens he should never leave her.He kissed her on her fore head, and she had a smile on her lips, with which she hugged him more tightly in sleep. Dev smiled to himself and fell a sleep, leaning to the wall.

As Radhika woke up, she found herself on floor tightly hugging Dev . Dev was sleeping, leaning his head on the wall. Radhika quickly composed herself and woke up, as she remembered what happened last night, a chill run through her spine and she stood up, to wash her face. She then kept a blanket on dev and went in to get ready for her morning pooja.

As she completed her dressing and came out to light the diyas, she heard a voice from the steps "Ur Mom also used to do the same"

Radhika jerked with the voice and turned back to find RV sitting there.. He was so much fresh, Radhika felt the fear building in her spine and she thought of running in, but she can't, he blocked her way. Radhika composed herself and said " U know nothing of my mom"

RV laughed and said "May be thats ur hallucination dear, I know much about ur mom than u does"

Radhika:Yeah, obviously, thats why u killed her na

Rv became serious and said "I doesn't kill her do u understand"

Radhika: Don't lie... I saw it that day, u killed her, I saw gun in ur hand, and even I saw u bribing police, when they figured out the bullets belonging to urs gun.

RV:Oh really>... What we see might not be truth some times darling

Radhika:Don't call me like that Mr.RaghuVansh

RV:I am ur father Radhika, I came here as such

Radhika:Nope, for me u are nothing but a brutal murderer who killed my mother, and abandoned her for 13 years. Just go

RV: I won't go with out my daughter

Radhika:Daughter@!! where does that go, in all these years. Where does it go, when ur daughter doesn't have an eye. where does it go when u need u to the most. Now all of a sudden why did u come here

RV: I never know what was u going on through, I was deprived of meeting u because of a promise, But I always love u radhika.

Radhika:Promise,what promise?

RVI can't tell it to u

Radhika:Then what can u say to me?

RV:I can just say that, I can' t get back what u suffered in these 20 years, but I can say that I love U

Radhika:Do U love me?

RV:Yes

Radhika:Then listen, If ever u loved me for once in these all years, then please don't enter my life again, and get off from it. Please, I beg u

RV: Nope... u can't say like that

radhika folded her hands together and said "Please, Mere liye mere papa aur mummy donom mar chuke hain, aur main aise hi jee rahi hoon. Aur mein aise hi jeena chahti hoon.Please jaayiye. "

RV:Mein tere liye bahut wait kiya, I can't do like that Radhika

Radhika:Aapko meri maa ki kasam

RV: U can't say that

Radhika: Meri maa ki kasam, aur meri kasam, jab tak mein aapki zindagi mein nahi aati hoon, please jaayiye meri zindagi se.

RV: Jaata hoon, aaj hum jaavoge, lekin kal aap hi humaare zindagi mein aaoge , humein humari Ram par itna toh Vishwaas hain

Radhika:Aur mujhe apni Kanha aur Aapki Ram donom par yahi vishwas ki, wo humare saath kuch bhi galat nahi hone denge

Rv nodded and left there, and before leaving he raised his hand as if to caress her hair, but she stopped him, He left from there

Tw0 days later. after Radhika was completely recovered...

Radhika and Dev went to college auditorium where their rehearsal was going and viraat gave a relieved look seeing Radhika and after asking her what about, he then gave them their scripts to practice...He found radhika to be a bit off, he went to her when she was studying her script and said "Kehte hain, dosti mein kuch chupaate nahi"

Radhika looked at Viraat and managed a smile "Kis ne bola ki, dosti mein kuch hcupa rahi hoon mein"

Viraat smiled and said " U know what ur problem is, ur eyes can't hide ur tears"

Radhika: For 17 years i hid my tears, today don't know why I am crying

Viraat:Will Princess ever cry? don't cry Princess!!

Radhika: I am not a Princess, I doesn't want to be one. Understand it .

Viraat: Toh, RV ko tum koun hain pata chala

Radhika:"How come u know it

Virat:I am a gold medalist in psychology. I will know things like that

Radhika:Vus se bahut jagda hua tha, lekin meine vus se saaf saaf inkaar kiya mujh se milne, par phir bhi kyun pata nahi ajeeb sa lag raha hain

Virat: U are feared??

Radhika:Haan

Virat: When ever u are feared, just remember ur mom and Kanha are with u, they will never let any wrong happen with u, so chill

Radhika: Hmmm

Virat:Kya hmm, Smile a bit madam

Radhika: Okay I will smile see... saying that she showed her teeth out and Viraat acted as if he will paint and Radhika made a serious face, when some one closed her eyes from behind, Radhika wondered whom it will be and for her shock it was Bharka..

Radhika:Tum?/

Viraat hi fied Bharka and said " Radhika, u know Bharka?"

Radhika:How come I don;t know Miss.Bharka raghuvansh

Bharka:Haan, ye meri sabse achi friend hain sir.

Viraat: So, She's a new joiner of ur batch and she joined day before yesterday, seeing her passion for theatre, I took her in for a role,.

Radhika's smile disappeared... she for an instant doesn't know what to do, she looked for Dev, but he was out for a class, which Professor Joseph, decided to take extra for him.

Bharka hugged Radhika from side and said "Hey, thoda has toh lo... Aren't u happy seeing me"

Radhika:I am truly happy to see u, but what's this all of a sudden leaving ur engineering and joining MBBS that too in middle of year.

Bharka:U know I wanted to join MBBS, but taavuji insisted me to join B.Tech, all of a sudden he came to me 3 days back and asked me if I wish to join MBBS and I agreed, when he talked with management, and got me joined in. Of course u know, nothing is impossible in this country for Mr.RaghuVansh

Radhika:Of course... any way, where are u staying.

Bharka;We shifted to our mansion here

Radhika:We??

Bharka:Yes, Taavuji also along with me, he was a bit busy with his new business set up and also some meetings. so..

Radhika: Thats great(She cursed in side)

Bharka:Pata ho... I am really happy. I got to study with Dev, this time I can make him love me.

Radhika's smile dissappeared as soon as she listen it, and she worried for Bharka, doesn't know why. Radhika smiled and said " All the best Bharka, but even if u don't succeed don't feel sad."

Bharka: I will succeed and u know it well.

Radhika smled and Bharka left, as soon as Bharka left, Radhika rushed to the department of Physiology and found dev so much engrossed in discussion with professor. As Professor saw Radhika, he inquired the reason for her absence, and also invited her for the discussion. Dev all through the discussion found Radhika restless and doesn't understand why, as soon as discussion completed, Professor left and Radhika closed the door of demo room, and pinned dev to wall angrily...

dev:Kya hua radhu

Radhika:Tumne kyun mujhe nahi bataya ki Bharka ne yaha join kiya

Dev:What Bharka, means Bharka Raghuvansh!!

Radhika;Don't pretend, she joined two days back

Dev: Radhika, sach mein mein nahi jaanta hoon, U know I am involved very much in class so that I can explain u after coming home, and then I am not even into rehearsing for last 2 days, as soon as classes complete I rush home to check u. Then how come I see her.

Radhika left him and sat there...

Dev went to her and said "Kya hua Radhika. U are worried about RV"

Radhika:Nahi, I am worried for u

Dev: What? why?

Radhika: Bhrka loves u Dev.

Dev laughed and then caressing the hair of Radhika said "who ever loves me I don't care, I love u. And at the end of the day I will love u no matter what"

Radhika: I know it but still

Dev cupped her cheeks and said "Hey pagal, tum mere saamne insecure feel ho rahi ho.. u need not. I doesn't want the physical things, I just like ur heart, and it will be like that forever"

Radhika: Mujhe tum par Vishwaas hain Dev, lekin apne aap par vishwaas nahi. Mera zindagi mein koi bhi mere saath nahi hoga, jiis se meine pyar karti hoon

Dev: If sop, then we will change the rhythm of ur life. Don't worry raa...

Radhika nodded and smiled when Dev winked and said "Lets go for auditorium"

radhika smiled and they left

But u know how busy i am with my exams
Any way this update is a big u turn in the story, I don't know how I penned it down, when I started writing I wrote it all as if i am in a trace . Hope u like the story, with Radev bind growing stronger in all these events

Part 37- A letter from father

Viraat gave a sigh of relief as he saw Radhika and Dev coming to Auditorium discussing some thing among them selves. Virat rolled his eyes, thinking how much will they discuss and from where will they get those many matters to discuss, but choose not to comment on it. But the interruption, and comment came in other way "Hey choclate boy! u speaking with Miss.dreamy girl?"

Virat looked amused at Bharka, truly he regretted for taking her into the club, but it was an order from management which he can't deny. When he try to compare Radhika and Bharka the supposed sisters, Virat can't help wonder who went wrong in the family. But then he realise that it was not with family but with upbringing. Still, he can't help but curse Bharka silently for being a prat. Truly with in two days after she entered the college, she got 3/4th of teachers under her spell... but its not a spell related to academics, and the way she behaves as if she was the queen of college irks him to the core. He also wondered how Radhika bears her friendship. Getting off from his thoughts he looked as Bharka successfully broke the some what productive conversation between Dev-Radhika, and he can't stop his smile when he saw that irked, angry expression on Dev's face.

Dev looked irritatedly and said "What is this Chocolate boy business Miss.Attitude?"

Bharka smirked "Ah ha... what a correct name dude.. U still manage to impress me, with ur timing sense and verbal duel"

Radhika smiled silently to her self remembering her schooling days.

Dev:Yeah, how come I can't when my most favourite target is infront of me. But yes, I feel sad that I got a positive response from u

Bharka: Hmm... sod off Dev. Hey dreamy girl, I never know that u made such a good friendship with Chocolate boy

Radhika chuckled and said " Bharka! I never know that u call Mr.Level head as Choclate boy. Please yaar, get correct names.

Bharka: Radhs... what to do, I can never expect my self to think any one as level head, especially chocolate boy.

Radhika was about to say some thing, when Dev slapped Radhika on hand with a amused voice " Do I look as Level head to u? Miss. over ambitious"

Radhika managed a sweet smile and said " Of course Dev, its the title I used for u in our two years of co-schooling.

Bharka joined in and continued "And also u know what Dev? I never thought that u two of all will make friends after these many years"

Dev:Hey why did u think that we both won't make friends

Bharka:Its simple... U always make acquaintances with the best people in section who are popular, and Radhika is definitely not one.

Dev eyes frowned, but he saw Radhika sending him the finger language already that to keep his anger in control... Dev sighed and said " Bharka, friendship is done with people, not their popularity. Hope u understand that one time or other. Any way we need to get our practice done.."

Bharka: So u are also there in this one.

Radhika: Hey, he's the male lead, why won't be he there?

Bharka:What? and whose the female lead, I didn't catch her in last 2 days.

Virat decided to step in at the time.. "Hey Radhika! finally now that u came today, I am deciding that we will get some practice in the scenes between u and Dev."Radhika saw the glint in his eyes and smiled ...

Dev: Thank god, finally I got some thing to act other than listening to story always.

Radhika rolled her eyes, and taking the paper from Virat, she kept on copy in Dev's hand, moving off. Dev smiled and move on with his script leaving Bharka with Virat there, and before leaving they shouted "We want 10 minutes Virat sir" and left in opposite direction.

Virat by reaction of Bharka herself understood that , she loved Dev, and this was friend Radhika told about. So deciding to play a bit he spoke " Hope, I get a couple like this every time for my play."

Bharka glared at Virat and asked "Means?"

Virat shrugging casually " They are best, I mean they were the couple with best understanding in the whole college, and they had good co-ordination. I some times even wonder how they understand other's feelings with out even speaking. "

Bharka gave a cough and said " enough. They might be good actors, but that doesn't make them best and also, they are not couple... using that word gives some other sense"

Virat was having hard time in controlling his laugh but maintaining his serious gesture said " No Bharka! u didn't attend first day na, so u don't know. They were chosen to be the would be couple among the fresher, actually we choose it, for the fresher every year, randomly deciding on a test. Though at first we started it as a fun to rag juniors, later the contest become really serious because, most of couples chosen there, will end up being real couples. And Radev.. oops Radhika -Dev have 99% affinity. which is highest score."

Bharka was fuming with anger and said " Stop it sir! Thats some sort of prank, and u people take it serious"

Virat smiled and said " Look, If u have any doubt look now when they come back to do the practicie. U will understand what I say!"

Virat gave Radhika and Dev their positions, and stopped every other who were practising and joined them all in the chairs present. He said to Radhika and Dev " I know this is ur first practising, but I want u to face ur stage fear all through ur practising, so that it will get off completely by last. And truly I don't want u people to run off from stage on day of play. How will u get over it I will leave u"

Dev rolled his eyes to Radhika, and said " This is our first practice, and its a over emotion scene... And we had to manage it in front of every one. what the hell is it? I understand its just the batch who are playing along with us , and our group. But why?"

Radhika smiled and said " Forget every thing Dev, and please don't be self conscious. Think that u are the Krish in the story and was facing ur Kavya, forget that I am Radhika and u are Dev"

Dev sighed closing his eyes, and getting some reassurance from Radhs.. he said that he was ready to Virat and finally the spot light fell on them

Dev/Krish looked at Radhika/Kavya seriously and said " kavs, I see that u are purposefully avoiding me for past few days. I wish to know the reason"

Kavya tried to avoid that glance and continued " Krish... um.. we.."

Krish: Hey, stop stuttering and tell me, whats the matter

Kavya closed her eyes tightly as if avoiding the pain and said " We can't be together Krish"

Krish looked hell shocked at Kavya, he has all the anger and glare in his eyes, for a moment he forgot that it was a play, and he felt like Radhika her self was saying him those words, he became anger and hold her by her shoulder " What do u think we can't be together"

Radhika shocked to see that gaze, she can feel the anger raditating from Dev, She can't look at those eyes and moved her eyes away from it, and retaining her role of Kavya continued " I can't be with u Krish, please understand."

Dev continued " Why can't u be with me? Its u who started to love me an its u who followed me, Its u who proposed me first, and showed me a new world. Its u who changed me. And all of a sudden one day u come here and say we can't be together! How can u break every relation of ours in such a way , doesn't our relation mean any thing to u?"

Radhika: Yes... what ever u said was right, but I have some priorities which made me make this choice.

Dev: What's the damn choice Radhika, and where the all these noble thoughts of u gone when u decided to propose me that day, where do all these choices gone when u shared every aspect of ur life with me...

Radhika was now shocked, she was looking at the other people who were looking with equal shock as she was. She looked at Virat pleading, who finally came out of his shock and made the curtains fall over stage, as the curtains closed them from others, Radhika rushed to Dev and hugged him, she clutched his face by her hands and said in the most motherly voice she can "Dev, please Dev look at me.. Please come out of ur trance."

Dev hugged her tightly and almost to say possessively " Tell me that u won't leave me."

Radhika who had tears running from her eyes " I will never leave u Dev. Its all a drama, u had to understand what those words said there were by Kavya not me. And those were intended for Krish not u"

Dev remained for a few seconds silently in the hug before when Virat came there, he released the hug. Virat who came there saw a panic driven Dev and asked " Kya hua. I mean u are al right?"

Dev: I am fine sir, just got out of play for a minute.

Virat: But upto where u did, u both did it excellent. If Radhika had not pleased me to stop it, I would have let it continued despite of name change. By the way looks like u changed some dialogues, but these were also good.

Radhika glared at Virat " Sir, I am going."

Virat: Now what happened to u.

Radhika: I guess I should work with this dumbo, more on remembering his lines, Tomorrow, we both will come back for practice again.

Virat always know that an irritated Glaring Radhika was not a pretty sight, there fore he sighed and allowed them to go, while he had his doubts in head.'

Radhika thanked him , and dragged Dev out of the room, when they were about to reach the parking , they were stopped by Bharka much for Radhika;s annoyance.

Bharka:Hey Dev.

Radhika rolled her eyes and looked at Dev who was still a bit serious... "Bharka"

Bharka: I have some free time around, so I am thinking I can accompany u both, for a small treat of mine.

Radhika: Look Bharka, we have some work to do. and also practically Dev can't go for these dinners for a while, as he had to look over his younger siblings. So it would be really very great of u, if u allow us to go home.

With out waiting for a reply Radhika took Dev into car, and drove off..

Bharka was furious as she saw her best friend leave with the person she fancied to the most

Radhika drove away from all these and after a half an hour drive, she made Dev come off from his thoughts, he looked around and saw a peaceful farm house with trees surrounding it. He liked the place immediately and found himself some soothing from the air present there. As his brain tried to relax a bit, what happened in last one hour came back rolling... and he realised how much foolish he behaved. He looked at Radhika who was beside him staring at him with red swollen eyes, Dev managed to give a faint smile to her. But the next minute Radhika hugged him with a high force that made them both fall down on the grass. Finally when they sat, Radhika asked him "Why?

Dev: I am just shocked... I doesn't know why, but when I heard those words from ur mouth, I forgot we are practising a play, nothing was real. I felt like u was saying me those words, and u will leave me for ever. I can't even digest that fact.

Radhika: What made u think I will leave u Dev? U know how much I thrive for u. In the last 2 years since we departed, I lived every day remembering u, with only hope that I will see u one day or other. I lived these 2 years making u my life, and why the damn will I leave u?

Dev looked at his girl friend who was now angry on him, but even in that anger he can see nothing but love. He smiled seeing how much she love him, at the same time felt a bit of guilt for knowing how much he made her suffer. but his insecurities he feel in his heart, how can he explain to her. How can he say her the nightmares he was facing. How can he tell her that, he was fearing every minute that she will be separated from him in one way or other. How can he tell her that, he hate and fear for her father who will drag her away from him and also he fear his father won't accept for the marriage. How can he explain all this to her, and how can he say her no matter how much she deny she was daughter of Ram Shankar Raghuvansh.

Radhika looked at him and saw him lost in his thoughts... " Dev, no matter why u fear or what u think. I will never leave u. Even if whole world tries to separate u from me, still I won't leave u"

Dev looked at her and continued " I am really nasty to u all those years at school. And I really did gave some hurt ful words to u, what made u love me this much? Every minute I didn't dwell into past only thinking that, dwelling into it will make u go away from me. But I can't bear it Radhika, I can't bear ur love some times. I feel my self guilty. I feel my self as a bas***d"

Radhika cupped his face and locked his eyes and continued " Dev, I won't say I am not pained from ur words, but every minute I lived loving u Dev. I never have angry on u, but felt angry on me for lying about u. U are at no wrong Dev. I am hurt, but u are not the person at fault, I never blamed u." she stopped a bit to look into those eyes which still have fear in them , she decided to cheer a bit " Of course Mr.Dev nath U have a full life time to condemn for the 2 years , and I will blame u completely and even kill u if u try to get away from me"

Dev chuckled at the warning " As u please Madam"

Radhika smiled " get up, we need to go home. Pari and Birju will be waiting"

Dev:Shit..

Radhika frowned and Dev continued " I promised Birju that I will get him a new cricket bat, I forgot about it."

Radhika: We can take it on our way home, I know a nice shop.

Dev: U didn't even leave Cricket?

Radhika: Of course I like to play it, so can't help.

Dev: U should have gone into army.

Radhhika: I tried , but they gave me a red card because of my eye.

Dev: I remember how much u used to whine about u becoming an Army doctor

Radhika: And I remember how much u used to tease me about my ambition.

Dev: Of course, I used to like ur glare when I teased u.

Radhika: If u didn't move now, U will get a similar glare again.

Dev sighed and moved towards car.

As they reached home they saw Pari lighting the diyas with Birju help and Radhika smiled to them. Now a days they picked up Radhika's habit to their and Radhika can't help but smile when they do that. But it will be followed by Dev murmurings about having two more torturers along with one which make Radhika roll her eyes, But there was one thing which made Dev caught his attention and he looked at the envelopes sitting there and Radhika when she didn't listen Dev's murmuring turned to Dev to look at him staring at envelops . Radhika's face paled immediately when she noticed what one envelope was... she rushed to him and took them from him.

Dev: What's that

Radhika: Report of meeting .

Dev: That I understand, but what did u have to do about the Board meeting of Gene-tech?

Radhika: Because regret tingly I am a member of the Board .

Dev: What? U mean to say u are one of the owners of the countries popular genetics lab!

Radhika: Sort of, don't be amused . Mom was one of the founders and she have a share of 40% which was transferred to me after her.

Dev: So u attend these meetings?

Radhika:Hell No! I don't want to face my monster father , and also I never acknowledged or attended any meeting in the past 2 years since when I attained my legal adult ship.

Dev: U are interested in Genetics

Radhika: Ofcourse I am , but that doesn't mean to me go and sit in between a group of vultures who will rule out my involvement in the company. And I am damn sure RV will never let me get some active involvement in the company and try to suppress me for sure.

Dev: Hmm... Can I ask u a thing?

Radhika: Do u need permission?

Dev: Why did u hate him a lot.

Radhika: The thing basically is, I said u about what happened with my mom and his mom, and how he didn't react. He never tried to take my mom or me from here and his ways. He was a killer, a politician and he was the man who killed my mom.

Dev: Radhika, I never want to hurt u, but I just want to know what happened to ur mom.

Radhika: I am in class , when I saw my mom standing there smiling at me, she came to me and kissed me on forehead and went out. I was confused how my mom was allowed into class, when the principal came and took me out from class room, she took me to home when she said my mom was dead. I didn't understand how she was dead. I know there's no one at home because Daadi was to go to a function and Massi was still with mausa ji then.What I got to know was she suffered a heart attack and died I know well enough of my mum, that she won't suffer a heart attack. When I went home, then I observed on her corpse that there was a very small hole in her head which was ofcourse healed. No one noticed it because of the hair. but I had my doubt about it, and then I checked the CC camera in the home. Then I saw him with gun in his hand and he... he.. was making my mom's corpse lie on the bed. I didn't understand what happened completely;y because the cc camera was only in some rooms and there was very few glimpses of what happened that day. Mom was going out, and after some 45 minutes he brought her in , and made her lie on bed . I rushed out in frustration, I wanted to shout, but nope, every one was in their own work. I rushed out with out them noticing thats when I saw him in the back side of house, he was speaking with some police and they mentioned the bullet belonged to his gun. He killed her... He killed her Dev . I can never fogive that monster... I hate him." Radhika burst into sobs and she kept on crying despite of Dev attempts to control her.

Not knowing what to do Dev made her sit, and gave her a glass of water trying to relax her a bit, after some 15 minutes finally she relaxes and trying to deviate her Dev passed her the other envelope. Frowning as it was a letter Radhika opened it , to get a shock... Dev not understanding what was happening took the letter

' Dear Daughter,

Probably by now, u are thinking why in the name of Ram ji did I gave u a letter, but just I want u to continue reading it because its not about u coming to me blah blah... but its about some thing that should be prevented from happening. So please continue...

For the past 2 years u didn't attend any of the meetings u should attend. But if u have attended u should have known about a project growing on... A project which involves a drasti change amongst the human race. I can't give u details straight away because it will lead to chaos if this letter is intercepted. I might be the one who may thrive for power as u quote it but I didn't want to get my self into the course of nature ... I didn't know well enough about u, to estimate how u will be thinking of it. But I know of ur mother well enough to say that, she will never want to go into the course of nature and try to change it. For that I need ur help as a Board member. Can u please meet me tomorrow after ur college at the chocolate room, so that I can discuss what all this heck was about. I am requesting u as Ram Shankar , not as some heir of a royal family, but as mere human. Please...

Dev looked at Radhika who have a blank face but he can understand her well enough to know that she was having a hail storm of thoughts in her head. "What are u planning to do now?"

Se jerked her head looking at letter " He wrote Ram Shankar. And I always will meet him as long as he is Ram Shankar, not some enigmatic Raghuvansh"

Dev: But if he bluff

Radhika: He won't bluff... though how much Hippocratic he might be, he loves his profession and he was also a manio-fan of genetics just like me, though i regret to admit it. So no wrong in looking what he want to say.

Dev sighed and agreed. Radhika observed uncertainty in his eyes " Dev?"

Dev shook his head " I am just uncertain, I did't understand. but I feel uncertain"

Radhika moved near to him and intertwined her fingers with his, " I can understand, don't worry I will never get my self trapped into his realm"

Dev looked at Radhika sharply " Radhika how many does u love?"

Radhika looked at him " Just 5 people ... 1,my mom, 2.u, 3.Rohan my best friend,4.Vishaka di,5.Virat sir who remembers me my mom."

Dev stared at her "What about ur Dadima and Massi?"

Radhika now moved off her gaze, she stared at floor uncertainly as if thinking a lot and then spoke " They don't love me, and I don't love them. its a sort of symbiotic relation between us."

Dev nodded as in understanding " I can understand, I doubted it, but they always seemed to be lovey-dovey with you, I thought may be I am wrong."

Radhika shook her head " They think they fool me , nope I know it very well. They bear me because I have all the inheritance from my father and mother. They were literally waiting for the day my father will die so that I get his money"

Dev sighed,"I am sorry for starting this matter, but Chandan and I are planning to Prank with Bharka, she was irking me a lot. So will you join me"

Radhika smirked "Yes for sure"

PS: Sorry for late update, My college started and literally I am exhausted with what say daily 6 hours standing and all. I hope u people are fine. I will try to update regularly. And now please give your comments, Radev are couple, but both have their insecurities, which I want to explore on. Now who miss Rohan, does he need to be brought in next update. And who want Ruby-Rohan confession.? Choice is yours. 😉

Enjoyed your update. Loved the interaction between Dev & Radhika and Barkha - Virat and Dev. Would love to have a confession of Rohan & Ruby. Waiting for Dev's prank on Barkha. Waiting for the next update.
