Hello Amitians.😊...seeing the pic above all of u have understood what is the topic of discussion for our chit chat today..well its a very important festival of india called Rakshabandhan...where a sister ties a Rakhi to her brother's wrist & the brother pledges to provide love, support & protection to his sister always. This festival is an embodiment of brother - sister love basically. However if we recall Indian History..we must be remembering a great event of 1905 which was The Partition of Bengal..in which Lord Curzon wanted to partition the entire Bengal (East Bengal - Now Bangladesh & West Bengal ) on the basis of population issues but the real reason being a divide between Hindus & Muslims. It was Kabi guru Rabindranath Tagore who organised a Rakhi Bandhan Utsav where every people from Bengal tied rakhis in each other hands to symbolise Hindu-Muslim unity.
So the question here is..friends..How is this festival of Raksha Bandhan important to U & what special memories to you have regarding this particular day...spill out everything that's in your heart. Share all your valuable thoughts. Please hit the LIKE button if u like the Post. Thank U!!😊

Wow!!! Very interesting Question today!!!
Raksha Bandhan is one of my favorite festival..I have one elder brother who is also out of india from last 7 years. We both share a very good bond.. He is 2 years elder than me... I had less friends in my my city because I was doing college in other city and he was studying in my city.. So Whenever he used to go with his friends for outing I used to join him... He had big group of friends including girls... I remember that time we all have watched DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dil To Pagal Hai kind of movies in first day first show... He was very mature in younger age and used to take care of me a lot.. He has been a very good support and friend of mine.. Now we are far , we speak less with each other but I love him and respect him as always.. Last few Raksha Bandhan I am not able to tie Rakhi to him so I feel very sad on Raksha Bandhan.. And I listen this gujarati song which has very good emotions of bother-sister bonding..
