Raksha Bandhan is one of my favorite festival..I have one elder brother who is also out of india from last 7 years. We both share a very good bond.. He is 2 years elder than me... I had less friends in my my city because I was doing college in other city and he was studying in my city.. So Whenever he used to go with his friends for outing I used to join him... He had big group of friends including girls... I remember that time we all have watched DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Dil To Pagal Hai kind of movies in first day first show... He was very mature in younger age and used to take care of me a lot.. He has been a very good support and friend of mine.. Now we are far , we speak less with each other but I love him and respect him as always.. Last few Raksha Bandhan I am not able to tie Rakhi to him so I feel very sad on Raksha Bandhan.. And I listen this gujarati song which has very good emotions of bother-sister bonding..

Awww Pankita...I know this topic is bit emotional so first of allfor u!! Loved your experience!! 👏Really a brother holds a very special place in sister's life & I can understand the pain u r feeling when u can't tie a rakhi to him...but thinking of him in this auspicious day & praying for his long & blissful life is what matters most!! Cheers to this lovely bond!!😊 Loved the song!!😊

oh lily... how beautifully you have described this festival and with that story of origin of this festival .. love you..

wel its real hard for me to explain the importance of this festival... i dont know.. i just like this festival.. i have two elder brothers.. one is 7 yrs older and one is 10 yrs older to me.. we share a silent bond.. i mean we three just cant express our love for each other but silently feel it...

i remember that in my childhood, dad used to give money to bro who in turn used to give it to me and dad on the pretext of buying chijji used to take all d money back from me. 😆 reason being i ws a kid naa, not mature to handle the money.

i dont demand a fixed sum of money or gift, i silently accept whatever they gift to me.

thats all i have to say... and yes this virtual rakhi for u lily..
