Shruti Haasan replaces Asin in Welcome Back!

Looks like to find an actress for a film is the most arduous task for our filmmakers today. Farah Khan took a long time to get a leading lady for Happy New Year and now its Welcome Back who is going through the same phase. Anees Bazmee has announced the sequel to his hit film long time back with John Abraham in the lead and ever since there have been series of actresses who have been offered for the lead role. Right from Sonakshi Sinha to Shraddha Kapoor to Asin, the names have not stopped for this sequel. But according to the sources the director is finally happy to rope in Shruti Haasan for the film after the actress' impressive performances in her recent releases been noticed by the director. Shruti recently even replaced another South beauty for an Akshay Kumar film. Way to go girl!

Haven't seen any of shruti's films but maybe she is a good actor. But this guy had said that they need industry's top actress who's glamorous and all then why shruti ??
