You're not for real! The man who didn't believe in love, has now let love make him soft in the head!
The same guy who didn't want his sister to wear jeans or cut her hair, suddenly has no problem with the fact that she was already dating someone 3 years ago, and without his knowledge.
And he knows about Haseena - how can he be ok sending Najma to that house?!

Surely, you're not complaining about him not being a regressive, male chauvinistic pig anymore, are you?

He simply understands the lau bin'nis now, having been there himself.

Zoya has made him realise that the way you dress does not reflect the person you are on the inside. Just because she wears western clothes, it does not neccessarily mean she has the culture of the westerners!

And when he himself is in love, how can he get angry at Najma for falling in love?

If he sayd anything to Najma , she will give it back to him saying he fell in love and getting married then why cant she ..He is not being hypocrite..

I know that *sigh*. I definitely don't want him to be unreasonable, but some balance would be nice.

Definitely not complaining. Just feel like now that he's in love himself, he's back to a one track mind - but of the opposite extreme to what he was. Love him more now, but I feel like he's gone from emotionally challenged to completely emotional. I guess you're right though, he's been there so maybe understands better. Perhaps it's more Najma's choice more than anything else that bothers me 😭

I live in a Western world where all Indians here only dress traditionally for special occasions and holy days, so you're preaching to the choir on that aspect. The fact that he's changed that facet of his personality pleases me to no end. The issue I have is that I guess I'm mad at Najma for her choice. And it irks me that he's giving her the benefit of the doubt without much background on Imraan except for his mother. I must say Hastens scares me. But my mind is open to all comments here, and i see it from your points of view as well. Thanks!
