AMLAN DUTTA F ame-X has one of the most amazing looking sets, it's one of television's grand productions," says Shilpa Saklani Agnihotri and before one can dismiss her talk as PR mush for the show which she hosts, she adds, "But that's about it. The show is not doing too well.

"SAB has not managed to attract viewers to get glued to the show. Let's face it we have not had mind blowing singers either jinko sunke aap apna dil pakadke baithe," she says. She is hoping that with the show in its final leg, it might just come up with something exciting. The pretty wife of Apoorva Agnihotri has always been upfront about her opinions. She joined Fame-X when Sophie Choudhury was asked to leave the show. Why did she accept the show in the first place? She says, "Because of Endemol, the production company. They are the nicest people I have come across. I worked with them earlier on Mera Star Super Star. So when they called me, I agreed." The actress is positive about SAB channel coming into its own with shows like Left Right Left. "SAB is a young channel and it's trying to make it with its young shows. Fame-X may not have worked but it takes courage to back a show like Left Right Left. "Most channels bank on saas bahu shows to attract viewers. If SAB gets more such shows like Left Right Left, it won't be long before they get noticed." Shilpa, who was part of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhie Bahu Thi ,says she took a month-long break. She adds, "There was a time when Apoorva and I barely spent time together. I was busy with ongoing projects and we were also doing Nach Baliye.

"It was just after our marriage. I was tired and couldn't spend enough time with my hubby. That's when I decided that when Jassi gets over, I would take it easy too." On starting a family, she says, "We intend on starting a family in another two year's time. Apoorva wishes to settle a little more." Right now, she is just chilling at home when she is not shooting for Fame-X. "I rest, cook for my hubby, wait for him till he returns from work. I will take up new work only when I feel rested enough..Till then, not interested," she states.
