He was shown today but I got a feeling that the bits shown were recorded from before. I might be wrong. On the far away shots, he was not shown and he was shown on frames on his own in the episode. Any idea if Gautam is really back from London? What do you guys think?

Yes, it looked like he was shot solo and then edited to look like he was there. They do it many times sometimes with Meena.

Your feeling is correct...his scenes were shot seperately from the rest of the cast then edited to blend in. You could even clearly see the backside of the body doubles in the full room shots...they didn't even remotely look like Vikram 😆
