Ditto - not before QH anyhow, I love science but not star gazing. However I'm trying to enjoy this while I can. Ps I guess you are situated on the other side of the Atlantic 😳

awww have you seen any shooting star yet tonight? :) ... hehe yesh I am (in Canada) 😳 ... omg this is so weird but just the other day I was thinking about that QH shooting star scene, and I thought to myself how I wanna see a meteor shower one day... so weird how I might actually get to see one so soon! 😳

My sis saw them last night and tonight too.

The shower happens every year from around 17 July to 24 August, reaching its peak about this time. According to the Royal Astronomical Society, the evening of 12 August and morning of 13 August (Monday and Tuesday of this week) will be the best times to watch this year's shower in the UK but I've seen a few tonight.

This is all I managed to capture, I've seen pics of other places on my friends' respective twitter's across the UK with a far more dense shower, I'm in the city so it's not the best viewing place.
