Just like you, I have not been really impressed with the current track as wrong messages are being sent out. I usually defend the serials when I get taunts about these types of tracks by saying that we are being shown what should not be done, we should learn by the mistake of others. But at the same time, glorifying Kumud's demeanour after marriage and finding it natural that two families engage in a serious relationship by hiding bitter truths send s what type of message.
However i will continue to watch SC for Gautam Rode only as he has given his all since the beginning and ewe should support such human beings.

>>>These days I wonder " who is writing all this stuff" . It all seems so unrealistic, they are getting the adaptation all wrong. Unlike the times when the story was written, this is an age of cell phones, Internet, cars well educated women (kumud) and sis can drop by Sasural after prior intimation. The writer has confused viewers by showing contrasting images of a small town in the same show, and so it is getting difficult for viewers.

Kumud also is not a typical small town girl ( if yes, then they projected her image all wrong to the viewers). In real life, she would not have a Saras to help her. She would be dead by now after that pillar fell and when her hubby tried to strangle her. So I wonder if she would have been able to save her life without Saras, forget about taking care of Pati and his family. So I skip all her lectures to Saras. In short , for me she is not a real woman but a true fictional character , whom many woman will not be able to relate to now.

It's unbearable to watch, I just land up fast forwarding, and stop when I see Gautam on screen. Cos Saras is the only one talking some sense in the current situation. Like you, I will watch Saraswatichandra only for Gautam.

yeah so true! but this time i dont think she will allow Pramaad to abuse her and will stand up to it but its just she wants to give her a marriage a try because end of day she feels she is binded at it.
In one sense she has a point..you cant just run away from relations at the first sign of trouble esp its only been say a month...but they should show that she says to herself that she will give say 6 months n if nothing improves then she leaves cos what is the point of maintaining a relation which doesnt exist.
even if Pramaad wasnt violent but what is the point if they dont have a relation of a husband and wife. he will never ever treat her as his wife so whats the point. thats def not what her parents would want...they woud rather she is a divorcee then an unhappy wife!
