Hey Guys,
I have been a silent reader on this forum for a while but even then I was only here for updates or spoilers. I did not want to get sucked into the AsYa world (of fanfics and non-stop romance) and so kept away from it. You can say I am once bitten twice shy. I have been there and done that a few years ago. I was one of JaNi fans and even when the serial went down the drain, the forum and FFs kept me afloat until I reached a point where I just had to break the addiction by (temporarily) quitting india-forums. I swore off FFs and had been clean for a long time (5 years).
Had been you say...😕...yeah I found myself with some time last weeks and you can safely say that I am addicted. Well I started reading AsYa FFs and let me tell you the talent on this forum is amazing. Considering that so many of you are so young and are writing such beauties, I have to say I am not only amazed but also taken by surprise. You have a very good commend on your language, expression and emotions.
So why this post you say???? Well I have a FF idea germing in my mind. Its not that I cannot write, I have written some JaNi stuff in the past, but with AsYa I am in uncharted territory. My idea needs me to be very well aqcuainted with all this Islam...the life style, the tameez and tehzeeb, Urdu, etc. Being a Mumbai born/ US lived Hindu girl, I dont feel comfortable penning it myself. I dont think I have the right sensibilites TBH.
So what I need is someone who can take my idea and make it their own...can you help? If you are upto it, PM me or post here. If you know of someone who will be able to write a story of a US bred Muslim girl raised in a not so traditional family struggling to fit into a Traditional Muslim family/ society living a relatively small town in India, give me suggestions. A comic sense is a must since this is definitely a RomCom. If you want to help me write...that is a possibility too.
