I don't think she is evil. I think the writers are trying to confuse the crap out of us. We have:

3 guns - Bharath - who wants to harm Janki
Rajo - who wants to harm Janki
Maasi's burkha lady - whose target is unknown (she hasn't SAID that she wants to harm Janki)

We also have Rajo in a burkha, and the Maasi's burkha lady, whom we are meant to assume is Rajo herself, BUT could possibly just be an extra/sidey etc.

I know that maasi said all that stuff about Krishna being the deceiver etc, which is true, but I think what she meant was that she can go to any lengths to fulfil her goal, which purportedly is to help Janki. After all, we have seen Maasi's deceptive streak - when she placed the foreign currency in Rajo's car and on other occasions.

My main point is, I don't think that she is evil, and I don't think that if she WAS/IS, the writers would show us so early - they would surely let Janki succeed in her purpose, and try to win her family back as Parvati before maasi turned on her. Plus, all this confusion makes me think that maasi's scenes today are a red herring: even the phone call was traced to London, trying to make US, if not Trishna, believe that it is either Janki or maasi. The writers are trying SO hard to make us believe that Maasi is evil, that it makes me wonder that she isn't...if you know what I mean. It's that whole "methinks she doth protest too much" syndrome - the more obvious you try to make something, or the more you shout it out, the less anyone believes you. And the writers are certainly shouting that maasi is evil

All in all, I sincerly hope that maasi is not evil, I don't think I could handle that change in track...

some one said early its Narayanis daughter but She does not have a daughter. It was her son who tried to kill her and she killed him to save herself. So Narayani is still looking for her daughter in law and it cant be Rajeshwari as her parents are the Wadhwas. Narayani cant be eveil its just to confuse us I guess.

Just a wild guess. Do you think this has anything to do with finding her daughter and grand child?

daughter-in-law, you mean? Well, they did mention them for the first time since the leap (though why she would want to find a d-i-l who planned to get her killed is beyond me), so it is highly possible. But what do the party, Janki and the d-i-l have in common??
