A late Res! 😔

Edited:
A very big sorry for a late unres... 😔

So the confrontation of the century happened finally!! Lots of things were said and heard... yet the mystery still continues... This truly is a masterpiece in writing... Such beautiful story telling and what an amazing concept... Just when I think that I can't love this story anymore... I fall in love with it even more... and this I am not saying just aise hi... its truly heartfelt...

I loved how Arnav realized that, things that happen in our lives... are not always due to others or destiny... they are a result of our own behavior, ignorance or attitude... Also what Ashima did to him, really did not matter... because he never expected anything from her in the first place... But Khushi mattered!! Much more than he could have ever imagined... and her betrayal hurt him the most...

Lost in his self analysis he bangs into Khushi and he could not help, but help her to get up... Seeing her in pain always tortured him... And then he throws all his cards in the open... lets her know, that he knows!! She is stunned, shocked and speechless... When he tells her that she is the actual reason for him knowing the truth, she does not believe him...

He lets her know, how he had followed her and overheard Ashima and her conversation... He reveals to her all his thoughts about the situation... the hurt, the betrayal and lack of trust on him when she had picked up the contract papers of Papyrus... He asks her why and she counter attacks him for playing with her for the past few days...

And that was it!! I loved Arnav's outburst... he bares his heart to her, asking her of what she expected from him... he tells her how much her opinions about him had meant to him... He had started seeing himself differently... His trust on her had become really strong... and he had started justifying each of her move accordingly...

The blame game continues... and in spite of all the hurt and anger... he blurts out his true feeling for Khushi... that he has fallen for her!! Aww I just love this Arnav!! And then the kiss... his actual admittance of what he feels for her... how much he is affected by her... I can't wait to see who actually makes the first move...

Half the truth revealed... half still remaining...
Can't wait to know Khushi's reason for her loyalty with Ashima... her side of the story and her feelings for Arnav... 😊

Glad that Arnav realizes that his idiocy led him to this mess.

What an intense conversation they shared.
Full of fireworks.

Don't know who to feel bad for.

Curious to know what's holding her back.

Read about your little one. Hoping she is doing better.
Loads of duas and positivity.

That was one power packed chapter Meera...
Loved it...Feeling bad for Arnav...he is hopelessly fallen in love with Khushi...with lots of questions lurking in his mind...I pity him...
as for Khushi, she is still a mystery...so its hard to say anything about her...

That was intense! Arnav is really hurt by Khushi's plotting, although he understands that Khushi herself is being played with. And in the end, he couldn't stop himself from admitting that he has fallen for her. That was such a heartfelt confession!

Waiting to find out how he finally pulls Khushi out of this mess... and of course the real reason behind Khushi acting the way she is...

I typed a comment last night and the browser acted up 😭 So here I am again:

That was one high-voltage confrontation alright...worthy enough of a super hit scene in a blockbuster movie...totally loved it...drama infused with sarcasm and emotion, neatly wrapped in your usual 'well-scripted' conversation style and sprinkled with reality. It was dramatic yet real. You are so talented Meera and your style of writing is unique!

I am still wondering if Khushi indeed played it all the way Arnav seems to have deduced..Why do I feel that she was not acting all the time...

Swami was in his element here...i really liked that with Ashima he was all formal and then with Khushi the confrontation was all personal....the contrast with the previous chapter was loud and barring...With Ashima he didn't feel betrayed...he realised how stupid he has been and how clever Ashima was...whereas with Khushi he felt betrayed like a man-in-love...

The best part of the conversations was when he used Khushi's 'always pointing toward him' moral compass against her! Because that is exactly what was annoying me too...The way she always spoke of high morals and jumped to conclusions about him...with him, she always acted like he was someone with loose morals...And this whole incident with Ashima highlights the fact that there is no such thing as right/wrong...who gets hurt in the process and how badly, is the only thing that counts.

Meera, when I read chapters like this I really wonder do you even realise your own talent? You should be writing professionally...joke with you I not...
This was such way above anything I expected and from you and from this chapter my expectations were very high.

Clearly he should have been angry at Ashima, for using him and being unable to come up with her own story... but he had no expectations for her...she did not mean anything from her hence there was no emotional connect ...that he had been played for a fool ...the professional blow, he realises that it was him and his lack of judgement in his personal life that took the hit...his indulgence in the superiority of his own persona...
Loved how you brought out his anger and disappointment...and his clarity of a the person to who his anger was directed...not Ashima, she was right...it was not a her...but at himself for being so full of himself, his vanity and pride that had landed himself where he finds himself...this predicament that he is in today is totally self brought on...had he not been so flattered by Meera's attention and advances...his own ego playing a crucial role...and an odd and probably unjustified sense of betrayal by Khushi...making him answers questions to himself that he had evaded...he had feeling for Khushi and strong ones...rendering him incapable of differentiating feelings from fiction... Or ? And for allowing himself to be in this situation giving in to foolishness, not having seeing himself capable of falling prey and frustrated at his lack of control and judgment ...and letting her control him...

He did not want it to matter, but it did and it hurt him in more ways than one..and with Khushi it was personal ...I loved how he just had to say those words, he needed her to hear them, to check if it was all worth it.. And I loved how he asks her if those were the papers...it's like one minute he wants to know if she is ok and not hurt from the fall and one minute his words, they hurt her instead...
I love his he is infuriated when she wants to know if he knew all along then was everything an act to see how long she will hold on, I felt like she wanted it to be real...his disbelief that after all she has put him through she could ask him...from how it all started, the entire plan, each step, discussing Shadows, and her part including La, and his disbelief that she aided it despite what was going on between them...his accepting her morals, finding them endearing..and righteous...on one hand and the other side...not so moral...
I love this verbal duel, the spark, the excitement...he hurt with her accusation and surprised with his own reactions and expectations...her morality versus his morality...her judgement of his character...his decision to sleep with Ashima for professional reasons. Or her pegging him a womaniser...

I loved the way you wrote it...she not able to think that she could have let it out, even if she wanted ...he determined to find out the hold Ashima has over her...his almost thinking she led him to the truth knowingly...and I loved how he corrects her and admits that despite everything that she thinks about him and her disapproval of his behaviour he has strong feeling for her...and that kiss. It was potent and passionate, just perfect for ...it spoke volumes when words we not wanted...I liked that he tells her not to say anything more ...then,...but he has sort of left the ball in her court, I loved how he wants nothing more than to pull her and take her away with him...oh I could feel his pain...he has it bad...
I wonder what this past of Khushi's is that renders her powerless to pursuit her life wholeheartedly ...

It was such a power packed high voltage, emotional, doing full justice to the story and the characters...it sort of made me greedy for more ...I want to know more about what they are feeling and thinking...especially Khushi, we have heard very little of her perspective to this entire drama...

I loved that they got talking.. And Arnav feels betrayed when he himself doesnt know why he is feeling that way.. Khushi didnt owe him anything..And still he blames her for the way he was used.. I guess he knows why he felt that way.. And Im glad they spoke.. Many more things to come up I guess.. Khushi seems flabbergasted by all the revelations..
