She was shouting hysterically, hitting him with her small hands while all he could do was close his eyes and listen to her. He kept moving back until he hit the wall. This was it, he had had it till his head. It was time to show miss Gupta, correction Mrs. Raizada the reality.

"WHY DAMN IT WHYYY?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMN IT."

And there it was, the calm again. Arnav was still pushed against the wall and the person crushed in him was Khushi. He was holding her upper arms and wasn't backing out of the eyelock. This was it, the truth of his life was out. Something he himself was unaware about. LOVE HAPPENED.

There was silence, dead silence for a good 5 minutes. None spoke, the two souls present were reveling in this new exploration. They were absorbing its beauty and more so the yearning to hear these words had been fulfilled. Arnav could not believe his own words, he knew what he said could not be taken back neither did he want to take them back. He was just scared of not being reciprocated in the same manner, at this fragile moment he could take anything but a no from the person standing infront of him. All he told himself was, don't ask how it happened because it did, don't ask what will happen because that is for time to decide. He was just taking pleasure in examining Khushis facial expressions. From shocked, to disbelief, to shocked again and then he was sure her eyes were shinning.

"I LOVE YOU KHUSHI".

This might have gone unheard if there wasn't such dead silence.

She couldn't take it anymore, there was too much pressure on her. First she found out about the truth, then she was subjected to a false marriage and now the person she cherishes the most told her he loved her. She wanted to scream, more so cry her heart out but she knew they wont understand. Khushi collapsed on the floor only to be held by Arnav again. None spoke a word while he soundlessly lifted Khushi up and set her on the bed as he sat next to her. Not even for a single second did Khushi take her eyes off Arnav, it was all a dream to her. All her life she had her parents but never did she lean on anyone even after her fathers death. Payal was always there but never did she lean on her however was in return her pillar. Her business was set up on her own two shoulders but now this was all too much for. All she wanted to do was keep her head and Arnavs lap and sleep.

Involuntarily she patted the space next to her for Arnav to lie down and so he did. A while later she felt cocooned in his warmth, which was welcomed by her arms and she fell into deep slumber.

Arnav was not sure whether to be happy and plan his next move. He knew it was not close to possible for her to express the same feelings and since all of this was so sudden to her he decided to take it slow. By now he knew their parents were well aware of it all, thank the news, he would deal with all that later. Right now all he wanted to do was drown in this happiness, he found out hes in love, hes married, the person he loves; if not has the same feelings; does trust him and leans on him for support. Arnav knew leaning on someone did not come easily to a girl like Khushi so he promised himself and her that he would be there at every step of hers and wont let her push him away. Slowly he would make her realize the depth of his love but that could wait for now. He was anticipating a move from Rodge, it was high time that man did something.

*Raizada mansion*

Garima had come over for tea, Rishab felt at peace with the entire family being together. Both Anahita and Anjali were forcing Garima to stay in RM till the situation was sorted out. Anjali had baked the cinnamon cookies with Varuns help, he sure was a mysterious man, tall, fair and extremely handsome. She kept reminding her self that he was sent by Arnav so she had to behave around him but what surprised her was this man did not treat her superior where as all Arnavs employees did, it was his strict order. When earlier she had a talk with Arnav she had forgotten to ask him about Varun.

"Mom, Dad, Aunty, why don't we all go sit in the living room its getting chilly outside". Anjali was well aware of Arnavs plan and she had given her full consent into it considering the fragility of the situation however she wasn't sure how the elders would react.

"I would like to take your leave now Mr Raizada!."

"Aaah Varun, thanks for helping my little girl in baking. Im always scared she might burn herself." Rishab was surely in a good mood, life was finally fitting into a piece.

"Your welcome sir, however im sure Anjali would like hearing this from you."

Both the men chuckled at this fact and even though Anjali had heard this conversation she chose not to pay attention to it. She was used to being treated as a princess even though she was older to Arnav but Rishab and Arnav had always kept her like a touch me not flower. What surprised her further was how well her father got along with Varun. Some guy he was – she thought.

"Fashion mogul; Arnav Singh Raizada; with his newly wedded wife; Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada nee Gupta; at the London high court after registering marriage. Stay tuned to know about the real reason behind this shocking news."

The news kept flashing on the tv as soon as it was turned on. Every person present in the room froze on their spot while Anjali had her eyes shut tightly. She really couldn't imagine the storm this news would bring in their house.

"Anjali care to explain?"

Even before she had voiced it out in the open her father knew she was aware of the situation which meant she had to take care of this mess.

He was furious, disasterous, devastated, he could see nothing but red at the moment.

"That sonofabitch did WHAT?"

Rodgers voice roared in the silent office, he had just received a call from Shyam. He was too late in appointing Shyam, the damage had already been done.

"This just got personal you Arnav bloody Raizada, I will hunt you and I will finish you from your very foundation."

What if he didn't get Khushi, he will destroy their happiness, one by one, and he knew where to hit first to crumple the mighty ASR. Suddenly the empty office was filled with an evil uproar, no one was present to witness such evilness around them, a monster who was awaken from his sleep. RODGER.
