As we all heard Ayaz's interview, he is definitely a charmer. I have all the more reasons to like him for his simplicity.
Anyway leaving that aside, let me say Hallelujah ... love track is NOT happening soon. Wasn't I just delighted to hear that or what... According to him "the power of love/ the eternal love is there, but the bonding and the feelings arent" What a beautiful way to state it!
Now what was so interesting about this was he mentioned something along the lines of expect the unexpected. It got me curious and interested. Let me try to phrase it exactly as he mentioned "whatever audience expects to see in the future will probably not happen"
So now let me sum up a few things:
1. Love track is not happening soon because there is a lot more to the story. You can expect a steady progression in their relationship.
2. The writing and the storyline is definitely going to be the focus. Daya Maiye is yet to enter.
3. They are attempting to deviate away from the typical stories that we see these days.
4. What we expect from the show is likely not going to happen (adding suspense)
From this, it seems the story writers are clear about what they want to show in terms of the Eternal Love...which is fine by me as long as I dont see winds blowing and 30 eyelocks being considered Eternal Love... I know they cant take out the eyelock scenes because to be honest thats what pulls the crowd... this is all understood... All I want to see is how they bond over time, understand eachother, and to what extent they go for each other. I just need some explanation and I will be content :D You cant just show two people in "deep" love or whatever you want to call it and expect your audience to relate to it... it cant happen till you show the depth of their love.
The title song represents the show so there are certains expectations that we all have set and now the writers will sort of have to live up to those expectations. I am sure they know that. I would like to see them go back to Kashmir at some point as that would be crucial for the story.
After putting all the stress on the writers.. I have to say one thing: Thank you so much for taking fresh faces! I was so sick and tired of seeing the same faces over and over again. Also this saves the forums from existing pagal phankas and their fan wars... I know the actors are new. Nikita's acting is a bit raw... What I love is their honesty towards their work. The writers are also trying to focus on the story than trps... I hope it remains this way.
