OS: Bechain dil mera...Part1
Sikandar was dead...A mission which was worse than death was put to an end finally...His life's only mission was completed...he had his team and specifically Miss Sakshi Anand by his side for all the support! Without them, the success was impossible!
As he thrust the bullets into Sikandar's body, he closed his eyes and he could feel Roshni inside him...her could feel her touch on him...
Once he emptied the revolver, he opened his eyes...Roshni was gone...gone forever and the hand he felt on him was Sakshi's
She stood behind him patting him assuring...Assuring of what?...a hope for a new life...a hope that all was not over...a hope that he had to life life again...he didn't know what it was...
He just walked away from her...from the rest of the world...He had always done that and today was nothing different...Just one thing was different...His mission was over...he had nothing more to do...he felt a vacuum inside...Roshni was gone forever...his purpose of life was over...But as the universal truth says, life never stops with one...it has to go on...
The team stood witnessing his withdrawal...All were happy that Sikandar was nailed and Arjun's revenge for Roshni's brutal death was accomplished but they were also hurt seeing Arjun's state...
But Rathod held them all back..."usse jaane dho...he needs time...main usse jaantha hoom...He will come back!"
All of them nodded...yes...who else other than Sam, Sameer Rathod would know about Arjun!
Life moved on...days passed on...ETF was back to being normal...life was hectic with complex tough cases being hurled at them...
Arjun didn't come back for a few days...All knew that he was passing through a rough patch and it was extremely tough to sail through for them but none had the courage to go to him or stand by him for moral support...
Sameer tried calling him up but then he requested Sameer to let him to himself for sometime...So that was it...
Sakshi was worried and disturbed for Arjun...she couldn't focus on her work as her thoughts fled back to Arjun and what he was going through...
The totally broken form of Arjun after Sikandar was dead never left her eyes...He was totally different from the ACP Rawte she knew!
She missed him badly at office...she wouldn't deny the truth that she missed his taunts...his snide comments...his glares and stares which were mere pretences of the hot cop...she had realized that pretence long back that when he had showered his care and concern when she was hurt during a case!
He indeed cared for her...his eyes reflected the affection he nurtured in his mind!
Now it was her chance to stand by him...she had to bring him back to ETF...bring him back to life...bring back his smiles...Yes, she had to bring back ACP ARJUN SURYAKANTH RAWTE!

Arjun on the other hand was reliving his past years...that same evening, after Sikandar's death, he went back to his home...his love paradise where he spent the most memorable part of his life with Roshni...Roshni was the sunshine of his life...She had brought in all the love he missed in his life..But she went away abruptly or rather was snatched away from him...

From childhood he had been a lonely child...
His mother's face was known to him only from the large portrait that hung on the walls of his big bunglow...When he was a baby, he didn't know what the garland on her portrait meant...as he grew up, he started enquiring about his mother seeing his friends with their mothers...He was slowly starting to understand who a mother is...He started missing her because his father had no time for him...His father Mr Suryakanth Rawte, an industrialist...saw business in everything he dealt with...rich and famous! He had everything with him...money, power, status but just one thing lacked...and that was Time...he had no time for his only son! No time to pamper or love him as a dad...then how would he be expected to play the role of his mother as well...So he hired servants, nannys to look after Arjun...
Whenever he asked about her, his nanny and others used to tell him some excuse about "Arjun, aap ki maa bhagwan ke ghar aapke liye dua maangne gayi hai..."
He had spent hours before the mandir bowing down to the idol to return his mother back...He pleaded that he didn't want any other dua but just his mother...but he didn't get a reply
And some others cajoled him saying, "raat ko aasmaan mein dekho...wahaan hai aapki maa...ek taara bannkar aapko harr waqt dekh rahi hai..."
How many endless nights had he spent on the terrace just to get a glimpse of that taara which was his mother..no he saw none in which he could see his mother...
Well, he did ask his father but he had no time for such silly foolish questions that came from his little 7 year boy except for some stern instructions to study well and get first rank in the school which he always did! But never got an appreciation from his dad...
He got whatever toys he wished for but nothing of that enticed him except for the guns and cars...
Slowly as he grew up, he realized that he wanted to become a cop...a sincere honest cop who will fight all odds and bring justice to people!
But whenever he voiced his dream and his goals to his father, his father shut him up and warned him against that but Arjun wasn't going to give up so easily...he was far more stubborn and becoming a cop was beyond just his dream...It had become his life's ultimate goal!
So opposing all odds, he worked towards it and became a police man...that day, he realized that his father never had loved him...His father only loved his business and only wanted a son to uphold his legacy...and inherit his business empire!
The day, his father knew that Arjun had gone against him, he disowned him...He said that he preferred to believe that he never had a son called Arjun!
Arjun was hurt but he didn't step back from what he wished for...he moved out of his house and made his work and friends as his only family...and then came the angel of his life...
The girl of his dreams Roshni...she stepped into his life...into his home as Sameer's best friend but then in the first sight, swept him off the floor...Love touched him the first time ever in life...Before anything else, he knew he had fallen for her...
Like any other tale of love, he took it forward slowly and gradually...she hesitated initially, but then finally gave in to his charms...of course, our ACP was charming and handsome enough to make any girl fall in love hopelessly! She couldn't resist his magic for long...
They were in love truly, madly and deeply...So there was nothing to think about or wait for...Arjun knew his father wouldn't approve this as well but he just informed him just in case...but he wasn't wrong, his dad wasn't happy with this decision as well...simple reason being Roshni's family wasn't up to their status...
Arjun wasn't bothered about anything else...They got married...it was a blissful life that followed...a dream come true...like a fairy tale...
But like they say...life is not a fairy tale...and all dreams aren't meant to be true...the small paradise which Arjun and Roshni were building up with love and happiness toppled down to the ground shattering everything...
A case which Arjun had solved had been the turning point of their lives...A ruthless criminal Sikandar...there was no crime that he hadn't committed...murders, drug racket, rapes, abduction, bomb blasts, human trafficking...Name any crime and he had done it...but he was unknown to all...Except for his name, none knew anything about him and his whereabouts!
But after a big undercover operation, some of his illegal activities lay bare and he was just about to be arrested but he fled from his hideout leaving the entire police team which included Sameer and Arjun were left baffled...It was proved beyond doubt that there was a black sheep in their own team but who? It was difficult to know...
But Arjun was determined to find it...a little deep digging and some tracking of phones and followup and he was there...it was the head of their own team who was passing information to Sik...
Though Sameer asked Arjun to hold on till they get more evidences, Arjun being hot headed, couldn't hold back himself...he confronted the chief and then there was a hurricane...a tornado that broke out in the whole department but it didn't affect anyone else...
Only affected people were Arjun and Sameer...Arjun lost his love...his wife..his everything Roshni...Sikandar with the help of his people in and out of the police department killed her as a revenge for what Arjun did to him...
Sameer lost his best friend Roshni...He knew in his logical mind that Arjun wasn't at fault...but in his worst mind state, put the blame on Arjun and his hasty decisions...He accused Arjun for Roshni's death...But deep inside, he knew that he was wrong but the loss was unbearable and he couldn't pardon anyone who was even remotely connected to that!
The best buddies split...Roshni's death and then Sameer's accusation and their broken friendship...it was more than what Arjun could take in...
His childhood memories of lonely life and now he was left all alone again...he retaliated to his enforced loneliness furiously...he became wreckless...ruthless with criminals...The angry form of Arjun Suryakanth Rawte came into action! There was no looking back after that...The only aim was to punish all criminals who came his way and his ultimate aim was to kill Sikandar...

He closed the album which had glimpses of his entire life...his fingers brushed the last photo which had Roshni smiling at him...He had taken picture that when he had gifted her the silver chain...She had fondly asked him to help her wear it...
She looked so beautiful in that white salwar and the chain made her look angelic!
Tears blurred his vision and a drop of it fell on her beautiful face...
"Arjun...yeh kya kar rahe ho?"
Her voice echoed...he wiped the tear from her face and placed the album on the table to look around...He only heard her calling him again and again..."Arjun...Arjun...main yahi hoom...tumaare paas..."
The ring of the door bell snapped him out...and when he didn't open the door, he heard her voice calling him, "Arjun...Arjun"
He voiced as he looked towards the door..."Sakshi"
