he said he always trued to imitate jai and tried to be like him because hes his nephew and not his son, but hes always been ignored, and now all this happened....and rasshi tells him that bani never wanted anything to do with jai property etc....

Yes, it looks like Raashi is turning Ranveer in to a good human being and thus he will side with Bani for Raashi.
