oh god please no... get someone better for SRK... no offence or anything but the little bits I've seen of this girl in that drama she comes in: shes REALLY boring and has no charisma to be on screen.

Ankita is a fabulous actress and dancer. If Deepika Padukone as a model was good enough for SRK in OSO, then why not an actress with experience from TV? Probably audience wants another star daughter to be launched opposite SRK or may be another wooden model.

Anyway, it is just a rumour as of now. If Katrina Kaif can be rumoured to be cast opposite Salman in Rajshri's next, why not Ankita opposite SRK? Weren't SRK-Priyanka married off! I did be happy if Ankita is cast opposite SRK, but if she's isn't then too its fine. Ankita who has come from small town like Indore has done great for herself and hope she further climbs the ladder of success irrespective of the medium.

Bonne, I guess in America people are more open to actors going into different mediums because of the variety, potential, and growth in those mediums. With Indian shows, there's very little variety and it's usually the same thing over and over again, just packaged differently. There's hardly room for growth for an actor or a writer/director/producer because to sustain the TRP audience, they make compromises that can limit them a lot. Going through all the Hindi channels now, I don't find any show worth watching and the poor acting of some actors just turns me away from a show along with the weak story lines.

There are some very talented actors in the telly world that are far better than some of the film actors but they're looked down upon because they're telly stars and most people just assume that if an actor is an Indian telly actor, you do saas-bahu shows and thus you're not fit to be a film actor because of how poorly saas-bahu drama are frowned upon (despite the fact that those are the shows that fetch the big TRPs, although that may be another reason for people to think poorly of telly actors). Ankita is a very good actress and a great dancer as well, and if she gets the role good for her. It's a Farah film, so I don't have any expectations at all but I hope the film works out for the sake of the actors.

And hopefully SRK will stop working with Farah in the future after this film.
