Is anyone else bothered?

Is anyone else bothered that the PH is completely ignoring Ramadan from the show? I have seen Indian serials for a while now, and generally, they tend to integrate cultural and religious holidays into the show.

How come a show about Muslim families ignoring one of the biggest/most important month in Islam? In general, Muslims do not have many official holidays (e.g. Ramadan, Eids and Laylat-ul-Qadr) and I find it quite offensive for this oversight.

I even ignored the fact when Gul/writes made up wedding rituals that do not exist in Islam, but I am baffled when they ignore what does exist and what's important to Muslims. Such a misrepresentation!

Sorry to vent but I am greatly disappointed ...

P.S --- There are plenty of other reasons to be disappointed at QH as far as its recent storyline and execution is concerned. However, acting is still quite brilliant and kudos to all the actors.

It's good they are not showing it to be honest, as Gul is gonna ruin it as well. I just want them to show Eid.

I've also been wondering. I bet they will show Eid. Gul probably thinks it's logical to have Eid without Ramadan.

Maybe the ramadhan is done along with the one month leap. Or according to the timeline of the show it is not time for ramadhan yet.

😛 that would seem like a good enough logic in the drama land. seriously though, a mention wouldnt hurt. it's a holy and important month for Muslims around the world. Also, esp., in the Indian Subcontinent area, majority of the people recognize it, so why wouldnt this show?

They are purposely playing stupid and it's bothering ...

Gul messed up Ajmer holiness so it's good if she stays away from religious aspects. Just show celebrations!

Technically, we dont know what month it is in the show.

I hope they didnt lump it within the one month leap, since Ramadan will be starting tomorrow.

Also, thy can just refer to it because it's related to current times -- like the holi sequence. It doesnt have to be the exact timing ...

Not sure if I'm doing a good job at explaining but referring to Ramadan doesnt detract from the timeline on the show...
