Thinking pattern leads to frequent clashes between Chhanchhan and Umaben



The show on 'Sony TV' "Chhanchhan" is a perfect blend of modernity and tradition sometimes merging and at other times clashing with each other. While the show's lead protagonist Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) is although a modern thinking girl she has her values intact when the situation demands. How she adjusts in a tradition family after her marriage with Manav (Anuj Sachdeva) is what the show is all about.

While there are instances where Chhanchhan goes all out to bend over for the sake of the family, there are clashes too between her mother-in-law Umaben (Supriya Pathak) and her when it comes to tackling her mother-in-law who is not only conservative but manipulative too. Chhanchhan's mother-in-law having ruled the household over so many years still wants to have the final say in every matter which does not go down well with the modern thinking woman Chhanchhan.

There are some interesting developments taking place in the plot and the storyline as the show progresses. The viewers have taken a liking for the show as is being proved by the good response the show has been garnering in terms of TRP's.
