Memories...beautiful memories of how it all began. Comforting memories of how good things used to be. Painful memories of how it all changed.
Memories can be a source of strength during difficult times, or they can be a painful reminder of how things are not the same as they used to be. Either way, memories make immense impact on our hearts and minds.
I loved the TR flashbacks today. Memories of the past flashed before Rey's eyes...right from his very first awkward but cute interaction with Taani, up to the tearful moment she told him that there was no longer a place for him in her life.
And so once again Rey breaks down as a defeated and broken man. In her letter, Taani acknowledged that she loves Rey...but they cannot reunite. And this is obviously not enough for Rey. An all or nothing man who doesn't do anything by half. He loves Taani...with all his soul. Her love is not enough.
He wants to feel her hand in his...he wants to lovingly tuck her hair behind her ear...he wants to embrace her and inhale her scent. He wants to be TaaRey again and this time, forever...
Taani is standing at crossroads...she may seem as though she knows what she's doing but there's a web of confusion spinning around her heart. It's been equally difficult for her to cope with. I just hope she chooses the path leading back to Rey's heart because that is her ultimate destination :)
