I hope Maharana Pratap's life is shown as authentic as possible through proper history sources. He is not associated with love stories even in hearsay or folklore. He was famed for bravery and patriotism mainly.

I don't think it's necessary to ruin every show with love stories. Chandragupta Maurya was ruined for me when they started the love story track.

I hope even if they do show a love story at any point in the show they should not exaggerate it. Don't make it mainstay of the show.

But I reserve my expectations or predictions from the show as they've never really told us the time period or date or backgrounds of battles etc. so quite possible for it to take bigtime "creative liberties".

Yes Maharana Pratap is like aan baan shaan of Rajasthan. Messing with his story won't be tolerated at all.

In fact even Ashutosh Gowariker faced protests for Jodhaa Akbar!

Movies are over and done away with in months after release. But not shows. So I hope all those PHs that are jumping on historicals and mythos bandwagon now better be careful.

Jhansi Ki Rani got massive flak and protests on streets when they showed SR of the queen! Sony should remember these instances and tread with caution when it attempts to explore love life and marriage of Maharana Pratap.
