Anju, Gopi is right in her place. For people like Ahem and Jigar, education was a given. It was not the same with Gopi.. She faced taunts and still faces taunts for her lack of education.
With the neighbors and her own family knowingly and unknowingly making fun of Meera too, no wonder Gopi wants Meera to learn and go to school like other kids her age.. Brain surgeeon or not, Meera deserves a strong mother and Gopi is that mother
