It's been long but I had to post this after watching last weeks' episode in the little time I had😊

Gopi's dilemma about Meera's studies and sending her away to a playschool at this young age has been shown beautifully. Well done on that script and for bringing out the past that Gopi so beautifully hides from all👏

Well, in my PoV, Gopi is totally justified in her actions and her need to want her child to have the best when it comes to learning. This is one of the toughest choices a mother has to make in her life.. Sending the child to another person for her own good. Yeah.. for many it may look stupid and unwanted but to a mother like Gopi, the small things matter much..

It need not be something huge..Things like what Savitha ben says, what Rashi says and even the joke that Ahem made about the laptop.. People do not realize the impact it could have on someone who wished to read all her life and who got to do it when it was almost too late.😕

Is it right to make Meera fulfill her own dreams? Not really but Gopi is a mother who wants her daughter to have a life she never had and longed for it.. I think the past week on Gopi's need to see Meera start her education at the right time is one that has been handled with great sensitivity.. A good mother makes some tough decisions..

Gopi may turn out to be wrong for all I care but she cared enough and stood up to what she believed is best for her child. Gopi the mother shone right through the week. Well done👏

Nice post.
I understood why Gopi took this decision. She has been through hell in her life as she was not educated. She doesn't want her daughter to go through the same thing. I applaud her courage and determination to ensure that history doesn't repeat itself again.
Even though Ahem was joking about the laptop incident it did have an impact on Gopi. If I was in her position I would feel bad. I am happy that Gopi didn't let her past haunt her infact she accepted it and decided to change it.

Hey Harini 😃 🤗How goes it? Long time. Saw your post so ran all the way here to comment. *puff, pant, puff! Wheeezzzee!!!!* 😆

As a mother you are constantly worried for your children. Part of it is that if you have suffered hardships or trauma while growing up you don't want your children to face the same so you will do your utmost to provide a better start for them. Gopi is not wrong to want better for Meera, I would be the first to applaud her for it but she must not choose the progress of other children as a bar. Ahem's off the cuff, to me was insensitive. Surely he must have thought back to what happened at that time and how it impacted on Gopi. Unfortunately the cvs have a habit of starting a new story with a blank sheet and make no reference or reasoning to the past. If Gopi was a real mother I would advise her that here is nothing wrong to want and strive for the best for Meera but she must not live her dreams through her. It is wrong and only brings conflict and tears in my opinion.

Thanks Ritu😊
Well said. Ahem's joke was ill timed and unwanted but I did love the way that they showed Gopi's resolve getting stronger

🤗Xari, could not stop myself from writing😆
The technology in my part of the world is not exactly praiseworthy now😉 😆

So beautifully put Xari👏
The Modi's may be kind but they are never shown as retrospective.. And that joke from Ahem😲 I mean really?

Was'nt Gopi almost thrown out after washing that ill fated laptop.. One would think it is too raw to joke about the first horrible year but no.. However I do see the same in real life too.. People are so insensitive that they are oblivious to the other person's pain😕

And I do agree about making one's child live the dream.. I hope Gopi learns early that Meera is an individual who would want things different from here.. She may be Gopi's daughter but her likes need not match Gopi's nor does her dreams have to be the same,,

So many children suffer the burden if their parents expectations.. Wish the cvs are sensible enough to explore these aspects too😊
