I will give my honest opinion . Lauren is professional dancer & i have heard lots about her . I always feel when a choreographer has professional dancer they have to concentrate on their act to be above anyone expectation . But untill now i have not seen any of WOW like performance from Punit - Lauren . They are good but they are not WOW .

Thank You for making this post.

JDJ is the Indian Version of Dancing with the Stars. Most of the Stars are amateurs. In this case Lauren is a professional dancer and is a past contestant of So You Think You Can Dance. Also she is not a star in the Indian context.

She is good but her presence is leading to the judges being unfair to other contestants who need to work twice as hard. Some have demanding work schedules yet manage to dance well (Case in point Drashti and Shaan).

She should be part of Dance India Dance where all the contestants are professionals. I have an issue with Lauren's presence in JDJ.

I definitely understand and do not deny in any context that Lauren is a great dancer and deserves high marks. I won't include Punit's name because I don't feel he is of the same caliber, and the only reason for their excellence is Lauren's skill and talent. However he is able to support her reasonably well in their performances so kudos to him for that.

I guess my main issue is with Remo and his OTT praise for Lauren and Punit. His comments attribute her performing something so amazing as if it has never been done before.

As for as people saying they deserve the 10-10-10. This is where her being a professional dancer doesn't equate well with the format of the show. If her caliber is ten times better than every other contestant - than of course she's going to get a perfect 30 - even if she does a sub-par performance for her standards. So what is the point of her in the show if she's going to continuously be awarded a perfect score in every episode just because she has the training and talent that is obviously keeping her way above everyone else - a fact that was evident before she even came on the show?
