The whole house was chirping with happiness and also with Nk being back, everybody was extra happy. Nk had always been close to Arnav's family. It seemed like he was his brother, the problem-solver type. With the whole house being decorated for tomorrow evening and everybody being happy, Arnav was there in the darkest corner of the house, his room.

Lavanya is and was cheating on you.

And what about that poor girl?

You don't even love Lavanya

You my friend are going to fall in love with Khushi and I can bet on that.

Arnav remembered Nk's words. They kept ringing in his mind, also the questions that rose up in his mind. What if Nk was right? What if Lavanya was cheating on him? This relationship never meant anything to him, did it? Khushi... Why did I just agree to marry her because of Lavanya? Why does she have to suffer? What if...what if I really do fall for her?

Arnav was going crazy of all this. He kicked the plant out with his foot in frustration.

"Yes, the marriage should be called off. I can't do this. I can't be with Lavanya or Khushi." Arnav said to himself. "Yes, that's what I am going to do. Be single." -Arnav whispered to himself.

Arnav got out of his room and his eye fell downstairs, everybody was so happy. Anjali, Nani, Mami and Akash, yes Akash, this could affect his marriage. He couldn't do this to his brother. Was he this cruel? He slammed his hand on the railing and went inside.

Arnav had a messed up mind, even his best-friend was ignoring him! He was right about Khushi, she is so young, and she doesn't deserve to be with a monster like me. He thought. She is so fragile, and her long thick hair, her eyes and her guts to speak to him like that which made her so different from every other girl he had seen. She was perfect. Arnav thought, but the knock on the door distracted him and the ASR came back. What the hell was he thinking? Nk's words are affecting him. He can't let this happen to himself, just no!

"Chote come down for dinner." He saw Anjali entering. Anjali looked at the pot that was on the floor of poolside.

"Ye kaisay howa?" Anjali asked.

"I accidentally bumped to it and it just fell and broke. I'll get it cleaned by HP. Di ap jao main ata hoon." Arnav said sighing.

With this Anjali left and so did Arnav for dinner.

It looks like a Christmas tree, Arnav thought as he looked around the house and rolled his eyes and came down for breakfast. The house was filled with fairy lights, and chiffon curtains and rose petals. Anjali wanted the place to look as magical as ever.

"Chote would you go and give this over to Khushi jee's house for the wedding?" Anjali held the decorated tray in her hands which had the wedding dress. "You and Akash both can go." She continued with a teasing smile.

"No Di, I've got work do to." Arnav said not really paying attention.

"Chote now don't argue, it's your wedding day." Anjali said pouting.

"Look Di, I have an important conference call and I need to attend it.

You're not even letting me go to office. So please. Second Nk really wants to see Khushi. He has been too excited so why don't you send him along Akash?" Arnav said as he checked his mails.

"Di forget him, I really want to go and see my bhabi." Nk said excitedly.

"Well, okay. Here you go Nk bhai. You guys should quickly have your breakfast and go give these to Khushi jee and Payal jee." Anjali said handing the tray over to Nk.

"Nk bhai you get the other tray and I'll go over and knock." Akash said as he got the rest of the things and went inside.

"Okay, okay." Nk said.

Nk didn't know why he felt weird about this Khushi and he was very eager to find out if she is or not. It had been 12 years, how would she even remember him? Nk sighed at went inside the gates and saw Akash talking to some old lady.

"Oh here he is, he is Arnav bhai's best-friend and he is very close to us." Akash said to Garima as she turned to see who it was.

Nk was shocked, happy, surprised. He couldn't believe it, he was at the same Khushi's house but this house was definitely bigger, a lot bigger. Garima didn't recognize him. It had been a long time, but Nk did. He couldn't wait to go inside and hug Khushi. She was like his little sister. Just as he was in high spirits it struck him, Arnav! Arnav was about to hurt his best-friend-sister. Nk couldn't let this happen to Khushi. Never ever.

"Oh beta, it's very nice to meet you. Come on inside both of you." Garima said with a wide smile allowing them in.

Nk and Akash were inside and Akash was heading to Payal and Khushi's room when Dadi jee stopped them. Garima looked at them teasingly.

"Now where do you think you are going Akash beta?" Dadi said. "I know, I know you are eager to meet Payal but just a few hours and she's all yours forever." Dadi said teasingly. Akash smiled and looked at the floor.

"Now give these trays to Nk and he can go to the girl's room and hand it over to them." Garima said making Akash sit with her.

Yes, that's what Nk needed. He needed to see Khushi, now and tell her about Arnav. He didn't know if she knew but he had to go and see her.

"Um... hey I'm Nk. I am Arnav's best-friend." Nk took out his hand to shake with Payal's.

"Oh it's extremely nice to meet you. I guess you're here with the dresses? And are you alone?" Payal asked curiously.

"Yeah here they are and no Akash is outside." He said with a chuckle.

"Where is Khushi?" Nk asked curiously.

"There she is." Payal pointed out and left to see Akash.

Nk looked towards the washroom as Khushi came out. She was so beautiful, he thought. She was close to pale and looked almost like... dead. Khushi saw Nk and got startled. She was expecting Payal but who was he?

"Hey, I'm Nk. I am a close family friend of the Raizada's and also Arnav's best-friend." Nk said looking at her.

"Oh... you're Nk. I have to ask you..." Khushi said but she got cut off by Nk.

"You know my friend, she looked exactly like you. We were best-friends but then I had to leave for America. She didn't send me her pictures nor did we talk on the phone. She said we will meet again as fate brings it." Nk said in a breath.

"Huh?" Khushi said confused. Then it rang a bell, Nk? Nandekisore?

"You're... Nanhe? Oh my god." Khushi said as she ran and hugged him. Ugh... she had missed him so much and all of this happening was so sudden that she needed somebody to cry on, somebody's shoulder.

"Khushi, I'm so glad you remember me and no not Nanhe, its Nk now." Nk said caressing her hair. Khushi chuckled a little.

Khushi realized that Nk's best-friend meaning Arnav is that old Arnav she met years ago. The old Laad-governor? She stopped crying and made him sit on the bed. Khushi was about to say something but he cut her off again.

"I know everything Khushi. The six months contract, everything." Nk whispered.

Just as they were about to talk, Payal called out for Khushi. This wasn't the time to talk, Nk thought. Nk hugged Khushi once again and told her that they'd talk after the marriage now. There was nothing that could be done now. But Khushi was partially relieved, Nk was back and he would be staying with e Raizada's and she knew she had company and things would be a little bit better than she had imagined, maybe?

Arnav wore one of his suits but Anjali and Nk both forced him to wear a sherwani.

"This is the last time I am saying, No!" Arnav gritted his teeth and turned to face the mirror to fix his tie.

"Di, who the heck are we kidding, he is ASR. He never listens to anyone." Nk said shoving his hands up in the air. "Apart from Lavanya." Nk said to himself but this didn't escape Arnav's ears.

"It has been an hour, I have to get ready and see everything and I'm still here forcing you." Anjali said slamming her palm on her forehead.

"Well Di, you're wasting your own time." Arnav gritted his teeth.

"Khushi you look so pretty. Seriously you look like a doll." Payal said to Khushi in their room. Khushi wore a red and green combination. The red reflected so well on her fair skin and the jewelry was very simple. Garima had insisted her to wear the other jewelry as well but Khushi was in no mood of getting ready and all. Although this was the day she had always been dreaming of, didn't go off that well. Khushi sighed and smiled to Payal.

"Khushi are you really happy with this?" Payal asked Khushi as she sensed something weird.

"Ahan, I am happy." Khushi smiled brighter and thought about Payal and Akash. She knew how happy Payal was.

Khushi and Payal heard the music outside and Payal quickly got up and walked up to the window. "Oh look they're here." Payal said excitedly. Khushi just let her breath out and walked to the window as well. She wanted to know how he looked and he did look as handsome as ever.

Arnav didn't know how but he knew she was there somewhere near and looking at him. He turned to face the window of her room and there he saw her which took his breath away.

"She looks beautiful doesn't she?" He heard Nk say with a dreamy sigh.

"Hmm..." Arnav absentmindedly nodded and also a pang of jealousy hit him and he looked at Nk.

"You'll fall for her." Nk whispered and started dancing.

Arnav looked back at the window and saw that she had gone and only Payal was there standing looking at Akash.

Hey dolls! I hope this chapter is long enough. And I apologize to those who were looking forward to wedding details but they aren't going to be any. Just a little brief thingy. :P And THANKYOU SO much for all the comments! Seriously I'm flattered. :') I love you all. And also those who took a little time to write more than a line or two. ^_^ *Hugs* Also, I saw a comment @ segad I'm glad you told me to do that and I think this chapter will be fine for Arnav's POV. I guess. I'm NOT sure. Hehe. :P I hope it clears Arnav's side. Let me know doll! :D

Anyway, Is the rerun thingy on Life ok true? If yes then please can someone pm me or put the link of the livestreaming life ok site in the comments? Umm..please? I'm craving for the drama! I'd be really thankful if someone can provide me the link and also tell me the date it is starting on? :|

Oh and I couldn't write the SS - Aahetain. There has been two deaths, some people I knew. :/ So yeah. I hope youz understand. I shall certainly update as soon as I get time. Loads of love dolls!
