It was Sooraj Barjatya who told him to pull it together.

I love him for everything you mentioned and I also admire him for forgiving his dad for not being around much till he moved to Mumabi at the age of 10. Not only that, he's formed a really close relationship with him and he's also close to his step mom Supriya Pathak. I don't know many guys his age with that kind of maturity and kindness.

He was the first one to get to the hospital when PC's dad passed away and stayed with her the whole day. He didn't need to do that at all. He cancelled 2 days of RR shoot to be with her and her family. And didn't show off at all in front of the press. He was there in the background. But I saw footage of him with PC's cousins in her balcony before the funeral. He'd have just paid his respects and left like Herman did. But Shahid is something else. I am just impressed by the way he conducts himself.

He's also one of those guys who doesn't get affected by hits and flops. He knows what matters in life. He has no backing from any big studio nor does he come from a big influential family. He's made it on his own. He does his own thing and doesn't put down anyone. That is the reason I will always root for him.👏
