Actually I disagree about Ekta and her improvement. She was lagging far far behind others in terms of even improvement. She had, by the 3rd act, finally got some control over her nervousness, but from expressions to movement she lagged way behind. IN fact my odissi dancer friend was appalled by her total lack of trying.

He is the best thing to happen to JDJ so far as I keep repeating. He is just awesome. In fact I had written Ekta off totally, but after seeing him, seeing him teach her, seeing her trying to dance instead of standing so totally wooden, I wanted them to stay only for him. Now if Tushar gets someone who is a bit good dancer and fast learner, man o man. I so wish him to come back and do a deepak like last season.

On topic, I think DD is a fast learner, from her first act to now, her contemporary act with the bed , she is actually doing good. She is doing whatever she is being shown or taught. As for salman and his limitations, this is first time he got someone who neither can dance so well, nor can commit to so much rehearsal time, it is his acid test season and so far he has failed to impress me.

As for shampa, yes, she was amazing with Sushant, and I remember how she was bashed last season for lack of innovative choreography. I suppose now those people understand it is not easy with so many limitations to do so well and hopefully will keep that in mind.

For this only, I would salute Savio.. Despite of having dancer disadvantage every season, his acts have been most versatile and refreshing. Too bad judges fail to appreciate it as much as they should.

Remo really need to be more liberal with his praises for his non DID choreos, and this is coming from a Remo fan.

In terms of Ekta, probably you are right since she still hasn't come outta her cocoon. But comparing to her first performance, I still think she has improved and tried to come out free and of course the credit goes to Tushar. Her biggest weakness is her expression, she is like a wooden plank. I am even surprised that she is an actress on some TV show. Yes she has improved a lot compared to her promo shoot, but thing is that improvement lagged way way way behind compared to say even Sid. That guy could not move his lower body but during his rumba act he was moving himself. People like Shaan, meghna to were a league altogether. not to mention no expression, extreme nervousness, preparation for steps. during her Odissi( whoever decided the sacrilege should have chosen something easier like basic kathak or even basic bharatnatyam for example, Odissi is extremely difficult even for trained dancers like me), it was seen when she was preparing herself to move, preparing to do her attami. Tushar on the other hand, during their previous elimination performance went into aremandi with ekta on his shoulder. That was when I had decided vote for Ekta for Tushar's sake.

I am simply disappointed with DD-Salman. Salman's choreography and DD's "for the sake of dancing" performance, simply can't connect with them.

Salman is very bland this season, maybe without the support of a good trained dancer, this is how he dances. DD I feel is learning whatever she is being taught though. Yeah the dance for the sake of dance is there , but not much. Last season there was pratyusha, atleast she is way better than that.

As for Shampa, from what I remember, everyone appreciated her last season, including GC critics.

You entered forum midway😆😆 There were enough blasting on her and her inability to choreograph GC like she did Sushant. People failed to realise how she was choreographing keeping GC and his strength and weakness in mind.

And I agree with you completely about Remo. Non-DID choreos do not get the appreciation they deserve and usually get over shadowed by DID choreos in terms of praise and comments.

As for your opinion, I don't think it's a KNIFE for them... For gods sake, THEY ARE GETTING PAID.. If they were so concerned about getting hurt, I don't think they would take up the damn show to begin with so it really shouldn't be any of your concern.. They CHOSE to do it and they are getting publicity, money, and fame from it.. That's what they want so please keep the defense moral stuff in your pocket because the sympathy card is not working for you here..
