Pavitra Rishta taking a 18-20-year leap has not gone down well with the actors of the show because it means they will all have to don grey hair and look old. That was the reason even Ankita Lokhande, who plays Archana had quit a few months ago. However, she's back in the show but the reason, sources say is that she has been told she will play a young girl again.
A double role has been planned for her where-in after the leap she will be shown playing Ovi's daughter. However, actors like Rithvik Dhanjani who plays Arjun and Shruti Kanwar who plays Ovi are considering quitting after the leap, inform sources.
Shruti has already put in her papers. Rithvik, however, says, "I just had a few concerns regarding the forthcoming track in the show. We are still trying to see if we can achieve a common ground." The leap is slated to happen next month.
