Why not dancing styles instead of themes?

You are asking too much... lot of them are not even able to justice with dance form of their own choice then it will get worse if judge give the dance form. After all this show is for non-professional dancers. All are only celebrity not dancer except Lauren. Channel needs to entertain the viewers too.

LOL. If that ever happens, some Contestants/Choreographers won't get to hide their flaws and they will be exposed. 😆 And they (whoever does the "themes") know this very well, that's why they won't opt for this option and stick to their "themes". 😆

Well I like themes better because through themes you can express a lot of emotions. Themes are much more challenging than simple dance forms. Themes allow you to showcase a dance style as well as express. Themes make you perform like a complete performer if you're able to execute well.

Well, I think they should give both theme and dance styles for the week. They can give two dance styles to chose from. This way we will get to see creativity, different dance forms and different concepts.

But even with themes the choregraphers can do magic and not stuck with one type of dance and bring the celeb to the dance floor in creative way.

the thing happend with the Fusion and the judge said Pure dance with this again not much of a dancing was there except 2 or 3 of them who has danced on floor

if spoking about dance .. they should challenge the celeb by giving them one dance form lets say Indian dance forms and see the output of that
