How can spelling and grammar standards be improved?😊

What can be done to improve standards of grammar and spelling of job applicants? 😛

Research carried out by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation says that 47% of all CVs received by agencies contain errors. 😳

Applicants aged between 21 and 25 were found to have made the most mistakes with men being the worst. 😊

Mistakes highlighted include confusing there and their and the incorrect use of the apostrophe. 😃

In this context, yes. But if I go to the beach is it the c I c b4 me or is it the c I c b4 me, or is it the commander-in-chief?
The written word with all the grammatical rules that accompany it have evolved over many years with good reason. I'll not make the argument because Lynne Truss has already done that in fine style.

I believe however that it takes no longer to learn to use grammar properly than it does to learn to use it incorrectly.😊

Good teacher, good parents who teach their kids to READ BOOKS rather than get online and start typing CEWL things such as "wut r u wachin doin 2nite", "butt Y???". "i 8 dinner awready" so on and so forth. Reading and writing comprehension should be dealt with seriously.
