So this might not have any credibility at all, but if the rumors of Tanveer pushing Zoya off a cliff in Ajmer are to be believed, then I really strongly believe that Tanveer herself might tell Zoya about what really happened on the night of the Nikaah!
Tanveer is becoming extremely over confident and this victory over Zoya will probably make her feel invincible. And it is in this mind set that people makes the most mistakes, and the ego of the villain usually reaches new heights right before their great downfall or parda fash! If Tanveer actually believes that she is about to end Zoya's life, she will want to give her one last gift- let her know that her Mr. Khan is innocent, that he didn't break her trust, but was merely made a pawn in her evil game.
I can totally see a confrontation scene on top of a cliff, with cameras zooming around as Tanveer proudly boasts about how she managed to break the great Zoya Farooqui to her very soul. And since Zoya will have had a few days to process everything, every single word from Tanveer's mouth will slice through her already battered heart, giving Tanveer the very satisfaction she wanted.
Tanveer will then push her down the cliff and presuming her to be dead will return back to Bhopal. But what she hadn't accounted for was the fact that Asad is actively pursuing Zoya and will end up rescuing her.
I am fairly certain that the misunderstandings and misconceptions between Zoya and Asad will be cleared before they get back from Ajmer because it makes no sense for them to go to such a holy and divine place, and come back in the same state they went there. That would defeat the entire purpose of the trip and all the great symbolism of the place. Plus Surbhi herself said that the result of all this will be a positive one, so it does seem plausible (maybe?).
There is another theory going around that maybe the whole scenario was recorded on Asad's phone which fell, but personally I would LOVE for Zoya to hear the truth for the horse's mouth itself because after that nothing else will be needed. And if all the stars are aligned right, maybe, just maybe Asad might get to hear a little bit of the confession too, just enough to put the pieces together, because I am sure the guilt of what he "did" is going to be eating him alive and he needs to be absolved of that. Plus, how long can they really stretch out the Tanveer track after this? This was the rock bottom for her character, the lowest of the low, and they usually don't survive much longer after reaching this stage. So I really hope that her days are numbered.
